Availability
January 2025 I went back to the office 3 days a week. My schedule is flexible so days at home can accommodate pick up/drop off times. Let me know how I can make your dog less stressed while you are out of town.

I live in Brandon with my daughter (11) and we enjoy walking the Big Sioux Trails. My large fenced in backyard also helps exert any energy! My fur baby, Riya is 4yrs old, social with all dogs, and UTD on all shots! Bring your dog's food, leash, bed or blanket to make them feel more at home. Dogs are free to roam my house and will be treated as my own. If male dogs are known for marking in the house, they will be required to wear a wrap while inside.

Information Karrisa Caye R. would like to know about your pet
Please help me better care for your dogs by telling me any of their traits and habits, their eating schedule, if treats are ok, if there are any food sensitivities, are they crate trained or do they roam throughout the house.
A typical day
Having high energy dogs myself I know how much they crave to adventure and explore. Typically we will head for a walk or jog in the afternoon through Big Sioux Recreation Area or off leash at the dog training area (depending on dog's recall and owner's permission).

Pet care experience
Animals have always held a special place in my heart since I was little. Although Riya is our only dog right now, I’ve been a two-dog household for the past 16 years. We said goodbye to our sweet girls Maci (7/4/10–3/9/24) and Roxy (5/20/08–7/2020), who will always hold a special place in our hearts. Because of that experience, I’m comfortable with everything from the high energy of puppies to the slower, mellow pace of senior dogs. Our family currently has a German Shorthaired Pointer, so we definitely understand how to manage and release lots of energy! Over the years, I’ve also cared for pets for family and friends. I’ve hosted dogs in our home and done drop-in visits for cats—feeding them, giving them attention, and cleaning litter boxes.
Reviews

Karissa is an extra special sitter! She has watched our dog several times now over the course of a few years. She is so great with him and he loves spending time with her and her sweet pup, Riya! He gets so excited to go to her house, and comes home well loved and ready for a good nap after a fun week of playtime. I highly recommend Karissa, she is the best and her care means so much to our little family!

Karissa is the best! We get updates with pictures every day. Our pup is so well taken care of and so happy when he gets to stay with her.

Very nice with frequent updates. Smokey had a great time.

Karrisa sent multiple pictures and videos daily and was in communication with us for our whole trip. Since this was the first time we’ve ever left our puppy, this was extremely reassuring and thoughtful of her. She has such a sweet dog and our dogs quickly became good friends. In fact, our pup literally did not want to leave. He felt like he was at home!
