Dogs have always played a huge part in my life, so now it’s my turn to give back to them! I love being able to take care of them and make sure they have everything they need to thrive. I have a long history of taking care of cats and horses and dogs especially, and can’t wait to meet tons of new pups! While it’s great to help animals out whenever possible, I also love helping owners out! It’s never fun to be away from your best friend, so I’m here to make sure that you are kept in the loop every step of the way. My experience with pups includes everything from being an owner to a volunteer and a professional sitter! I’m currently the owner of a wonderful mixed breed pup named Lola Estela. She is my greatest joys in life! In addition to her, I’ve been a caregiver for scores of animals in professional capacities and have loved every minute of it. Lastly, I’ve been a longtime volunteer for the Whatcom Humane Society, primarily as a cat handler. It taught me so much about providing great care to animals, and I bring that with me every day. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. When it comes to stays, I always keep owners kept in the loop on everything. Communication is the foundation for all good customer service! No one likes being away from their best friend, so it’s my job to make sure that your time apart is as easy as possible. I’m always happy to take notes on anything you need to know, and include tons of pictures with every stay!
