Dogs have always played a huge part in my life, so now it’s my turn to give back to them! I love being able to take care of them and make sure they have everything they need to thrive. I have a long history of taking care of cats and horses and dogs especially, and can’t wait to meet tons of new pups! While it’s great to help animals out whenever possible, I also love helping owners out! It’s never fun to be away from your best friend, so I’m here to make sure that you are kept in the loop every step of the way. My experience with pups includes everything from being an owner to a volunteer and a professional sitter! I’m currently the owner of a wonderful mixed breed pup named Lola Estela. She is my greatest joys in life! In addition to her, I’ve been a caregiver for scores of animals in professional capacities and have loved every minute of it. Lastly, I’ve been a longtime volunteer for the Whatcom Humane Society, primarily as a cat handler. It taught me so much about providing great care to animals, and I bring that with me every day. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. When it comes to stays, I always keep owners kept in the loop on everything. Communication is the foundation for all good customer service! No one likes being away from their best friend, so it’s my job to make sure that your time apart is as easy as possible. I’m always happy to take notes on anything you need to know, and include tons of pictures with every stay! I’m readily accessible by phone or text, so never hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns.

Unfortunately, I would not book again. Before the stay, I raised concerns about unfamiliar dogs and left with the understanding that I had met the dogs who would be present. At pickup, there was a new, larger dog there. Maggie returned very dirty, with diarrhea and carpet-like material stuck in her mouth. I also saw an indoor urine puddle cleaned with an unrinsed mop, and Maggie’s chew bone was mistakenly given to another dog. Overall, I was uncomfortable with the hygiene and supervision.
Karrin was wonderful. She sent daily, or near daily, updates or photos. When my travel plans were unexpected delayed a few hours, Karrin was willing to work with me around pick up (which I greatly appreciate).
Karrin is alwaying smiling and loves dogs. My dog even likes her dog and Jax isnt that friendly to dogs!!
Karrin was super responsive and seemed to provide great care to my mini poodle. I would feel very comfortable leaving my pup with Karrin again in the future!

I work part-time almost mostly from home, I also work a tiny bit in-store demos at times, and still work some events in rare cases too for brands and such, making my own hours for the most part usually, so I have plenty of time and attention to give to your furbabies.

I live in Bellingham (firstly), then Vegas and Hawaii, WA! But most of my petcare seems to take place in Bellingham now as I firstly live here the majority of the time again now! The building I live in in Bellingham is extremely secure/safe and very dog-friendly for your furbaby.

A typical day
(I live in Bellingham, WA and then Vegas and Hawaii!) There are tons of great things to do around me! I live in a large and clean apartment, where sometimes I hire a professional cleaner also. It’s a great place for dogs! My place has tons of dog toys laying around to play with, but that’s not all your pup will enjoy. There’s a private dog park that is apart of the complex that is absolutely perfect for meeting new friends! And I live on a large property on the lake, and next to parks. I’m always happy to head out and explore new things, and going on adventures is always a possibility.
