Dog walking I’m available at any time during the weekend except at night. I am available for house-sitting to watch cats and dogs on weekends. I just need ample notice beforehand so I can plan for it. I can also do pop-in visits if your pet needs someone to walk them and play with them for a longer time.

I make sure they have all the food and water they need, and that they are taking any medicine according to their needs. Ultimately I want them to feel loved and cared for.

I think it is important to know if a pet is hyperactive or has any specific triggers that will scare them or make them respond defensively. I like to know if a pet has any relevant medical issues I should be aware of and what signs I should look for if something goes wrong. When walking a dog I like to know what their temperament is towards other dogs. It's helpful so I know what to do in case we can't avoid another dog on a walk.
A typical day
I take a moment to let pets warm up to me being in their space, and then I engage and give them pets if they like. I love to play with pets and learn the games they like. It's so cute watching them chase after their favorite toy, or try to snatch it away from me. I also love to hug and cuddle them if they are cuddly dogs who enjoy that form of attention. When house sitting I like to make sure I know where everything is and the pet has everything they need (food, medicine, leaches, etc). If there are parks nearby I love to take dogs there so they can get to sniff some trees and maybe have a fun squirrel sighting.

Pet care experience
I've looked after dogs and cats since I was 12 years old. My weekends are open and I miss being around animals. I would love having the ability to take care of your pets and give them some love if you’re traveling or just need the extra support during your busy days. I’ve had lots of time to pet-sit and walk dogs for friends, family, and people in my community through Rover. If your pet has special needs like taking medicines, I’m used to looking after pets like yours 🥰. I also love taking dogs on long walks and I am comfortable with larger dogs. So if your dog is high energy and needs lots of time outside and playing, I’m happy to help.

Karole, not only is responsible in her personal life, She is responsible in her care for animals. I am very picky about who I can trust to care for my dog as he has health issues that need a caring and responsible sitter who can follow directions if something were to happen while I was away. I had many in my life who could watch my dog but she is the only one friend who I entrusted my "Brody" too. During that first sit with Brody, Karole communicated effectively, sent lots of pictures assuring me of their time together and since then, has now become his stand in"auntie" as she loves with her whole heart. Any animal in her care will be more than cared for responsibly, they will be loved and cherished.
