Karmen was wonderful with our dogs. We will for sure use her again.

I wanted to schedule a meet and greet, but the sitter didn't have availability within a short window. I understood, but was hopeful to ensure this was going to be a good match. I thought it would be important to her as well. She instructed me to read her reviews, which I had done before requesting her service to board my English Bulldog. The reviews described a sitter that was very communicative with updates throughout the day including photos and videos. I did not receive updates throughout the day. When requesting updates, I was told that it is done at the end of the day. I don't think it's expecting too much for a pet parent to want to have updates on their pet throughout the day at all. I would think it is understood. We NEVER received any videos of our Roxxie and just a few photos each day. The most important thing for us is that we were NEVER shown where Roxxie would be housed or crated. I have no idea where my baby was kept. I sent two of her blankets in her bag so that Roxxie could smell the familiarity of home...which were still folded in her bag and never used. Although Roxxie has boarded many times, we have never experienced her returning home behaving as strangely as she did. Then her stool became soft and quickly turned to diarrhea with blood in it. She was diagnosed with stress related colitis. We chose to use Rover in order to provide Roxxie with a safe, loving, active environment rather than a boarding facility that houses lots of other dogs and crates her most of the day. We will not be using this platform and especially this sitter again.
