I’ve loved taking care of animals my entire life! I’ve grown up around pets and farm animals. At age 12 I started volunteering at a rescue shelter & began handling all sorts of dogs, all with their own personalities, of course. I quickly brought my work home and began fostering, then eventually foster/training each & every dog I felt confident in teaching . Nothing brings me more joy in life than hanging out with a good, happy dog or 2 :) Throughout my career as a dog handler I have worked almost every branch of dog care work you could think of. From teaching basic manners and in depth behavioral training, to giving tours mushing sled dogs, scent detection training for Arizona Police Departments as well as their Search & Rescue teams, agility training, AKC show ring handling & grooming, husbandry, vet tech & medical/clinical experience- both at the vets office, and at a working dog herding farm, and I was fully trained to work as a groomer for about 8 months. And of course, most dear to my heart is working with and caring for rescue dogs. I always seem to connect most with the dogs who struggle to find their manners. Majority of the interactions I’ll have with your pup during their stay will be mini-training sessions for them that will build our bond and stimulate their natural drive to please their handler :) I love training dogs - Specifically high drive, working breeds! I love working with animals and it’s the field I will work in for the rest of my life. I have always been surrounded by multiple dogs and I wouldn’t prefer it any other way!

Bandit was so happy to be with karma. He always has a blast when he goes on his sleepovers, he tried to run back into the yard and not come home because of how much fun he had. Can’t thank her enough for all she does to keep him active, happy, and cared for.
Karma took great care of our high strung Weimaraner. She made sure he received a lot of exercise and communicated with us when he wasn’t eating and acting overly anxious. She was able to figure out solutions so he remained healthy and safe. Our family learned a lot from Karma about our dog’s behaviors and preferences when he’s away from us. We are very fortunate that we found Karma!
We had a fantastic experience leaving our pup with Karma. It was Brodie’s first stay away from home (he is an 8 month old golden retriever), so he was naturally a bit timid. Karma read his demeanor and didn’t overwhelm him with playgroups that were overly excited. He also started having “GI issues” during his stay and Karma reached out immediately. She prepped him a bland diet and even went to pick up probiotics for him at our vet! Karma took care of our boy like he was her own. We will definitely be back!
Our dog Mullens had a great time being able to run around and sniff in the huge fenced in yard. As an over protective dog mom Karma allowed me to do a meet and greet with her prior to Mullens stay to make sure he was comfortable with her and her space. She sent me updates and photos Throughout the weekend and it seemed like Mullens had the best time! Thank you!
Karma took great care of our two pups (German Shepard & husky)! She was really flexible and was able to extend their stay. Would definitely book with her again!
Murphy had a great time staying with Karma for the day. He especially enjoyed playing ball in the big fenced in back yard!

I have a fenced in grassy back yard, security cameras around my home, and large rooms your dogs can make themselves at home in. I also live on a low traffic street and close to multiple parks I could take your dog on walks to. I have multiple extra large kennels, and nice comfy dog beds for your dog to use during his stay.

I have a fenced in acre behind my house that the dogs love to run around and play in. My favorite things to do with my dog friends include frisbee games, fetch with a ball, or engaging enrichment activities to get to know them better and begin strengthening a fun but trusting & reliable relationship with one another.
