I’ve loved taking care of animals my entire life! I’ve grown up around pets and farm animals. At age 12 I started volunteering at a rescue shelter & began handling all sorts of dogs, all with their own personalities, of course. I quickly brought my work home and began fostering, then eventually foster/training each & every dog I felt confident in teaching . Nothing brings me more joy in life than hanging out with a good, happy dog or 2 :) Throughout my career as a dog handler I have worked almost every branch of dog care work you could think of. From teaching basic manners and in depth behavioral training, to giving tours mushing sled dogs, scent detection training for Arizona Police Departments as well as their Search & Rescue teams, agility training, AKC show ring handling & grooming, husbandry, vet tech & medical/clinical experience- both at the vets office, and at a working dog herding farm, and I was fully trained to work as a groomer for about 8 months. And of course, most dear to my heart is working with and caring for rescue dogs. I always seem to connect most with the dogs who struggle to find their manners. Majority of the interactions I’ll have with your pup during their stay will be mini-training sessions for them that will build our bond and stimulate their natural drive to please their handler :) I love training dogs - Specifically high drive, working breeds! I love working with animals and it’s the field I will work in for the rest of my life. I have always been surrounded by multiple dogs and I wouldn’t prefer it any other way!
