There aren’t enough words to describe how grateful I am for Karma, John, and their family. They are, hands down, the best dog sitters we’ve ever had. From the moment Luka arrived, they treated him like he was one of their own. Their sweet dog, Teddy, became the perfect big brother, and their girls absolutely adored him. He even got to know an auntie and grandma! It wasn’t just dog sitting it felt like Luka had his own second family. He spent his days playing, getting plenty of love and attention, and was cared for as if he were their own pup. Luka is the definition of a mama’s boy, so I expected him to be counting the minutes until I came back. Instead, he didn’t want to leave! Seeing him so happy and comfortable gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. My only complaint? Watching him leave. I actually had to carry him to the car because he wanted to stay with his new family. Thank you, Karma and John, for loving my boy so well. Knowing he was safe, happy, and genuinely loved meant the world to me. I couldn’t recommend your family more highly, and Luka can’t wait for his next visit!

What an amazing dog care experience with Karma and her family! From the moment I met them, I felt relieved and confident that Ginger and my JRT/Shepherd Mix puppy, Bhageera, would be in safe hands. I was already confident about Ginger, since he is calm and composed. But Bhageera is very energetic and, as a puppy and a working dog, he needs more than just a sitter. Karma and her family completely understood his needs and provided the perfect care while we were on our trip to Isle Royale. Since Isle Royale National Park does not allow pets, we had to find a pet sitter — and we were so lucky we did. As an added bonus, John, Karma’s husband, owns and operates the Isle Royale Queen ferry. What an amazing coincidence and what a wonderful family! Their Aussie Doodle, Max, became Bhageera’s buddy and gave him the stimulation and play he needed. Meanwhile, Ginger was able to relax in a quieter environment. Karma’s kids also helped care for the puppy and made him feel comfortable and loved. Overall, I am beyond happy. This was the perfect combination for our furry family, and we are so grateful for the care they provided while we crossed Lake Superior. We frequently visit the Keweenaw area during the summer and fall, and we will surely be seeking their help during our next visit. I would recommend Karma 100%.

Karma's family has been caring for my terrier mix, Ruby while I'm at work. Ruby's tail is wagging when we arrive and she comes home happy and tired. Very good care, beautiful property and friendly dog, too!

You won't meet a more caring, dedicated or responsible person than Karma! Her love and respect for animals is unmatched. She would be in great hands taking care of your fur babies! She gave my horse the best care at her home. He is now at our property along with many other animals and when I need her help she's always willing to come and I don't need to worry about anything. You will love Karma and be very happy you chose her to care for your fur babies!

I’ve known Karma and family for approximately 12 years. Over that time we’ve had several arrangements for long term/seasonal care, mostly for our horses, and I can’t say enough about Karma regarding the attention and care paid to each animal she cares for. Karma treats each animal as her own when it comes to overall observation and well being. We routinely put the care and safety of our animals in Karmas care and know that they are in good hands. When it comes down to it care and safety are a top priority and that itself is priceless.

Karma has watched my dogs many many times. Not only do I trust her completely with my fur babies, but they love going to her house! When I come to pick them up they don’t even want to leave! Your pups will love Karma and you’ll feel confident knowing they are safe and happy!
