I took care of my beloved special needs cat Tails until he passed away at a very elderly age last year. He was adopted from the street as an adult and was with me for 12 wonderful years - my best friend. I love dogs, cats, and all other animals, and before I had my cat I cared for many dogs, cats, bunnies, and more as a pet sitter, often long-term, and including several senior animals who needed special care and medication. I have some light experience caring for farm animals (sheep, chickens) and would be comfortable learning more. I also teach kids and have been a caregiver to people...I like giving care. I have tons of experience and references to offer.

I only offer care for pets in your home, and unfortunately cannot board animals in my own home at this time. I take the utmost care and caution while being a temporary companion for your animals. I require that all of the families I pet sit for leave adequate emergency contact information, such as vet info and emergency contact info if you will be out of cell phone range.
Ratings and reviews
Karlyn came through in a pinch with almost no notice for a series of drop in visits with Bella. My anxiousness was lessened by knowing that Karlyn would give Bella plenty of attention, and Bella was calm in response.
Karlyn was a blessing for us as a a dog sitter. From the initial meet & greet to our return home, Karlyn mde us feel at ease with her staying with our dog Bella. She responded quickly to questions, was very responsible with the care she provided both to Bella and to our home. She is reliable with her committments, and she sent several pictures as well so that we could see that Bella was enjoying her special time as well. We absolutely recommend her and will call her for services again in the future.
Karlyn is a good friend and though she has never acted as a pet sitter for me, I would have no hesitations about having her care for my pets, whether staying at my house or coming by for visits. She is very caring and attentive to animal's needs, and is responsible and trustworthy. I would certainly recommend her for any pet care.

Schedule
Please contact me to arrange the timing of the care your pet needs. We will discuss your needs and schedule and work it out precisely. My schedule is different at different times of the year because of the nature of my other work as a musician and independent music lessons teacher. Regardless, I do about 60% of my work from home, online - and so when I housesit and stay overnight with your animals, I am able to be there for them the majority of the time and accommodate lots of walks, medication times, and whatever else you may need me to take care of for them during the day.
