Do you need an animal-lover to give your pet the time and attention they deserve? I can provide devoted care for your pet whether it be just a walk or a longer term overnight stay. My experience caring for animals is extensive, including a wide variety of breeds and administering shots/various medications. My schedule is flexible and dedicated entirely to trust and relationship-building with your pet, providing ample long walks and creating a safe, comfortable environment by using a discerning, accommodating approach. I am fully-vaccinated and continue to value covid-safety. My house is very spacious with bright bay windows, cozy indoor pet-friendly spaces and a large, fenced yard. I listen to calming classical music at home and when I venture out for trails or park walks, I have a Honda Element which is truly the most ideal vehicle for pet transport! I thoroughly enjoy nurturing the pets in my community:)

Karly was absolutely wonderful with our dogs. One of them is particularly nervous being without us but responded so well to Karly that there were no problems at all. We are very lucky to have found Karly and would use her boarding services again in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a true dog lover to care for your pup, you’ve found it in her.
Karly was wonderful. She took very good care of my Amstaf, Nala for a long weekend. Nala loved hanging out in the backyard, laying in the sun. Lovely place.
This was our first time using Rover.com and meeting Karly. It couldn’t have been a better experience. Karly is so sweet and had a gentle way with our young golden retriever. Jake was happy and content while he stayed with Karly for 6 days. She sent us beautiful pictures of him throughout the stay as well. We will come back to Karly again next time our boy needs a home away from home.
Karly did a wonderful job keeping Tofu happy and sent photos. Tofu was tired out and slept like a baby. I would highly recommend Karly.

I am happy to either come stay at your house or host your pet at my home! I have spacious pet-safe indoor spaces to explore and a large fenced yard where we can play with a ball and exercise! I also live right by a park.
A typical day
Your dog will receive first class treatment at my house. I love getting out into nature and am up for as many walks as your dog's energy encourages. When we get home, there are many warm cozy blankets and couch nooks, a large covered back porch with a gate and a gorgeous fenced back yard to safely explore. I live one block from a large park and am a ten minute drive to the beautiful UBC trails!

- I would love to find out as much as possible about your dog for the most well-informed care! Things that are helpful are how they tend to respond to other dogs and new people. Have there been any experiences that have been out of character? Do they have any diet restrictions? Any special preferences? What might they be inclined to bark at? I love all breeds and am always keen to learn more about yours:)
