Empathetic Animal Lover!
I have always loved and cared for animals since I was young. I have taken care of my own and other people's fur babies. I love when my friend's pets get excited to see me because I equally share their joy! Dogs: I have always loved dogs and had at least 1 since childhood until a few years ago sadly. The automatic baby voice comes out when I see and talk to a dog. I have found myself spending more time with the dogs than the humans at gatherings sometimes and I appreciate those moments. I love all breeds and sizes! When seeing a new dog in passing, I ask each owner if it’s okay for me to “say hi”/pet their fur baby because all are different with different personalities and life experiences. I tell my kitties often that they will have a canine sibling soon! Cats: Currently a cat mom of 2, the stars in my pictures! I was ignorant of cats until I found my own. I listened to many behavioral podcasts along with my research to understand their uniqueness, and now I deeply appreciate and understand wholeheartedly the love earned from such individual little creatures. My kitties are my shadows, I never use the restroom alone. They have taught me so much and I love the unique personality that I find in each one of them. I know how important it is to respect their space (especially if they're more standoffish) and ensure they have all their resources, especially when their humans are away!

Safety, trust & environment
My kitties eat raw, so I make their food daily and give them specific supplements and treats depending on their behavior and the litterbox situation. I'm in tune with my kitty's behaviors and meows knowing what they're requesting in that moment. When caring for other people's pets, I'm mindful of where we use the bathroom (if possible) and clean up appropriately. No details are too many, I'm very supportive of specific needs and how your fur baby may be familiar with their care.

Karly had great communication and I like that she sent a lot of pictures. It seems like my cat warmed up to her very quickly.
Karly was an outstanding person to look after my 2 pretty big dogs. She recognized an issue with one and communicated the problem clearly and with her pics. She didn't shy away from the problem nor ignore it, and turned to me for guidance, which she followed appropriately. I would be very comfortable leaving my 50# Australian Cattle Dog and 75# Black Lab, anytime!!

Patty can be a bit particular around new people, but she absolutely adores Karly and warms up to her instantly. Karly took wonderful care of my dog, Randall, and my cat, Barb. She was responsible, attentive, and clearly loves animals. Schedule
Currently working my own flexible schedule so I can make any time work that your fur baby needs. Some pets are used to early mornings and some are used to late evenings. Whatever works for yours!

- Let me know if your dog has specific preferences in regards to likes and dislikes, and how we prefer to handle other dogs coming near us :) I am careful to limit interaction for safety reasons but it's good to know who is extra sensitive to other animals nearby. And any signs that are unique to them in communicating their needs with me :)
