My husband and I are big animal lovers and wish we could adopt more pets. Instead, we’re turning to Rover so we can introduce new friends to our 11 year old corgi and give others a sense of comfort that their fur kid is in good hands while they’re away. I am temporarily living in Dallas during January and February for a work trip that allows me to work from home with a private fenced yard attached to my condo. Since it’ll just be me and my corgi, I am looking to make the most of it by having new companions while offering peace of mind and an affordable solution for other pet parents who are working in an office or traveling. I am super active and my social life revolves around where I can bring my fur kiddo. Your pup will be treated like family and I look forward to taking him/her out on lunch or dinner dates, walks, park trips, or just exploring DFW as a little crew. I know what it’s like to have a stranger pet sit your pup through Rover, and we’ve had some not so great experiences with dog sitters in the past, so we wanted to be able to provide a super positive experience while you’re on vacation since we’ve been on the other end too! Also, be prepared to get spammed with lots of cute photos of your pet while you are away (unless you request otherwise!). When not in Dallas, I work from home 5 days a week in San Diego (my husband works hybrid 3 days a week) and we live in a quiet culdesac in the heart of Bay Park. We are very active and love exploring San Diego - you’ll most likely find us in Ocean Beach playing volleyball, at dog beach, walking Mission Bay or Crown Point, at Fiesta Island, or at a dog-friendly restaurant.
