Big animal lover, longtime dog mom
My husband and I are big animal lovers and wish we could adopt more pets. We recently had to say goodbye to our 11 yo corgi due to cancer and 10 yo cat due to kidney disease — we have so much love to share while we heal and are happy to give your kids the best care and ensure they feel at home. I work from home and we have a large deck that’s fenced and great for sunning or lounging. We are active and our social life has always revolved around where we can bring our fur kiddos. Your pup will be treated like family and we look forward to taking him/her out on lunch or dinner dates, walks, park trips, or just exploring San Diego as a crew. I know what it’s like to have a stranger pet sit your pup through Rover, and we’ve had some not so great experiences with dog sitters in the past, so we wanted to be able to provide a super positive experience while you’re on vacation since we’ve been on the other end too! Also, be prepared to get spammed with lots of cute photos of your pet while you are away (unless you request otherwise!). I work from home 5 days a week in San Diego (my husband works hybrid 3 days a week) and we live in a quiet culdesac in the heart of Bay Park. We are very active and love exploring San Diego - you’ll most likely find us in Ocean Beach playing volleyball, at dog beach, walking Mission Bay or Crown Point, at Fiesta Island, or at a dog-friendly restaurant.

Karly was very communicative and patient with my pup, Pearl, when she was having some separation anxiety on her first night. By night 2, Pearl was feeling comfortable and at home! She sent tons of photo and video updates which I love. Thank you for taking such good care of our furbaby. I would definitely recommend Karly for your dog sitting needs!
We felt great leaving our deaf boxer with Karly! She was immediately interested in learning Pearl's signs and was very communicative with lots of dog pictures and updates which we love. Would definitely recommend her and will be using her services in the future! Thank you!
Our dog Mango is always happy to hang out with Karly and her doggo Manny! Karly has great communication and takes excellent care of our fur-baby while we are away. Definitely recommend!
Karly was wonderful with Jeff! He got plenty of walks and cuddles (his favorites), and even got to go on some adventures. I will use her services again, for sure.
I’ve been searching for a true five star sitter for my boy Monti, and I’ve finally found them. Karly and her husband were incredible and made me feel so comfortable leaving him with her. She sent so many photos and lovely updates detailing his adjustment, stay, and other fun tidbits about their day. Her dog Manny is also a sweet guy who played well with Monti. Schedule
We are accustomed to at least 3 walks a day and field trips to the local restaurants or parks. We love exploring the best dog friendly spots San Diego has to offer to make the most out of their day and ours.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large fenced patio deck great for lounging and live in a quiet, safe culdesac. Your pet’s safety is number one and we realize the importance as fellow pet parents. We will always keep your pup on leash unless you specifically request a visit to an off leash dog park.

We’ve got a great toy bin ready for our guests and always love a good game of fetch. Whether it’s a field trip to the beach, fiesta island or a hike, we’re always up for adventure and prioritize the pups and where we can take them.
