I have over 5 years of direct pet care experience, starting with petsitting for friends and families in the community. I’ve gained most of my sitting experience with chickens, cats, and dogs, but am happy to venture out. Through my work at a dog daycare and boarding facility, I became skilled at overseeing dog activity, safety, and cleanliness in a busy setting. I moved on to a position working with dogs one-on-one in a small grooming salon where I handled dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am able to comfortably handle, care for, walk, and bathe dogs of varying sizes, breeds, and behavior. I am open to taking on a challenge, and am not afraid to clean messes. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and finding ways to ensure you’re comfortable throughout the entire process.

Whether it’s keeping them crated, or finding ways to keep them stimulated when alone, I look forward to finding what works best for your pet. We can discuss feeding schedules, exercise and activity preferences, stress-relief, and other concerns you may have as we plan for your time away.

Karlie has been pet sitting for me for years and has always provided amazing care. I also recently paid for her to give my dog and cat baths and they looked and smelled fresh when I got back from vacation. Karlie is the best, she always goes above and beyond on simple tasks like walking, I highly recommend her!
Animals really adore Karlie as she does them. She will cherish her time with them. Spoil and pamper them. She will give them that love and attention that they so deserve. Karlie is perfect for Rover!

Schedule
Although I work throughout the day, I have plenty of time in my schedule to put toward spending time with your pet. I’m active in the mornings and evenings, and can give my undivided attention as soon as I arrive to your home. My weekends are open for overnight stays or flexible drop-in visits, and I am always open to discussing options for pet care throughout the week. My goal is to meet the needs of you and your pets, and I am more than happy to make accommodations.

- It would be really helpful to know what sets your pet off. Do any noises, people/appearances, places, things, or animals scare your pet or upset them? I would also really love to know how your dog behaves on walks, especially when seeing other dogs. Anything like food aggression, leash aggression, or reactivity should be noted. If there are any special instructions or needs that need to be taken care of, I would like to have notice of that too. Alert me of any allergies or skin sensitivities, especially if bathing is included in your service. I’m happy to learn as much as there is to learn about your pet, no matter how big or small the detail. Keep me updated, and I’m happy to adjust my care accordingly!
