I work a full time job, from 9-4:30 pm Monday-Friday with the exception of one remote day on Wednesdays. Most pets are used to this schedule. I will ensure they will have potty breaks first thing in the morning, during my lunch break at 1, and then once I return to the home at 5. And then several throughout the evening and before bed.

It’s really helpful for me to know your pet’s daily routine, feeding schedule, and any quirks or behaviors that are part of their personality. I’d also like to know how they do on walks (if applicable), how they interact with other animals or strangers, and what comforts them if they get anxious. If your pet takes any medications or has special needs—whether physical or emotional—I want to make sure I’m fully prepared to care for them the way you do. The more I know, the better I can make them feel safe and loved while you're away!
A typical day
I love engaging with pets in ways that make them feel happy and loved! That might mean going on walks, tossing a ball around the backyard, playing tug-of-war, or just having some quiet cuddle time. If your pet enjoys learning tricks or has favorite toys or games, I’ll gladly join in. I also enjoy incorporating enrichment activities like puzzle feeders or treat hides (with your permission). My goal is always to make sure your pet is mentally and physically stimulated, while also feeling relaxed and at home.

I have watched beloved family pets for many friends and family during my life time. Being an animal lover myself, I know that your pets are family and I make sure to treat them as such! Growing up with family dogs and cats, and currently our funky boxer dog Rufus, I know what it takes to be a successful animal sitter and how much love they need.

Karlie is very sweet and we call her the dog whisperer at our house!!! Our Rottweiler’s instantly made up with her and was her best friend! She loved my dogs like her own and were very well taken care of! Communication was great with her and she even sent me pictures daily of them to ease my mind. Usually when we are gone they are so excited to see us when we get home but this time I knew how well they were taken care of because it was like any other day after work excited. I would recommend her to any family or friends and will definitely use her again!
