As a dog owner, I understand how important it is to have someone dependable and attentive caring for your pet. My own dog can be anxious, so I have experience recognizing canine body language, respecting a dog’s boundaries, and helping nervous dogs feel safe without forcing interaction. As a massage therapist, I am patient, calm, observant, and comfortable following detailed care instructions. I treat every dog as an individual and will provide reliable walks, plenty of attention, and updates so you can feel confident while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide pet care exclusively in my clients’ homes, where pets can remain comfortable in their familiar environment. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, playtime, and the pet’s usual routine. With the owner’s permission, I am also happy to take dogs to parks or on other outings suited to their personality and activity level. I prioritize safety by keeping doors secure, using leashes as directed, and respecting each animal’s boundaries. I also keep the home tidy and provide regular photos and updates so owners know their pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

Karlie is incredibly patient, gentle, and kind with my anxious pup. While my dog is normally skittish around people, he warmed up quickly to Karlie. She has been incredibly responsive and responsible caring for my dog like her own, with plenty of walks, play, and treats.

It’s also important to know about any fears, triggers, resource guarding, escape habits, or reactivity toward people or other animals so I can keep everyone safe and comfortable.
