Happy Paws: Pets are family
Ever since I can remember I loved taking care of pets. When I was in high school I created my own petsitting/dog walking business Happy Paws. I built up a client base in my neighborhood and surrounding areas. I have experience petsitting dogs and cats, as well as caring for animals with medical needs. I can provide daily care as well as overnight care for your pet. For one year I also worked as a kennel assistant at a vets office. As a kennel assistant, I cared for max 12 dogs in the boarding center. While dogs were in boarding I provided daily care, cleaned kennels, and gave baths as needed. I used to have a dog and grew up with 4 cats in my house. I love taking care of all pets and animals (including chickens)!

I am unable to provide care for pets inside my own home, but am willing to spend time in your own home to care for your pet. I have experience providing overnight care for dogs. I abide by all guidelines and instructions set in place and am willing to do a meet and greet before I spend time caring for your pet.

Karli did a great job with my pup! She walked him and let him run around the yard. She stayed the full 30 minutes which I appreciated. Definitely will use her services again!
Karli is AMAZING with pet care and I would put my total trust in my cat's safety with her. It's funny - I think sometimes my cat likes her more than me...she's always so happy when Karli hangs out with her. She's a lover of all animals, and has experience with cats and dogs, but also farm animals (goats, horses, peacocks, llamas, chickens) due to her previous work experience working at a children's petting farm. That girl would put herself through anything to care for the animals around here. You're doing yourself a favor booking with her.
Leaving a pet behind while traveling, going to work, or having an emergency can be a major stressor on pet owners and I know the feeling all too well! I have known Karli since she was a young girl. You can trust her to give your pets special attention, talk to them and interact with them like you would, like they’re the most precious pet on earth! She is very reliable and detail oriented and would gladly listen to your requests on how to feed, walk, pet, and hold your beloved animal. Karli has always been a natural animal lover her whole life, from cats and dogs to chickens and goats! She has a special bond with animals that really can’t be put into words. Simply said, she loves them and they love her back! She also enjoys training and has been very successful at it. Karli does a wonderful job caring for animals and is also completely responsible and trustworthy to have in your home! Your pet will love Karli and you will too!

Schedule
I am currently a recent graduate of Northern Illinois University. I am able to provide care for your pet during the day and overnight. During the weekday I am available dependent on my work schedule. I work split shifts so mid day care may be arranged. My evening availability is open past 6pm, please reach out for more details. My weekend availability is dependent on certain dates set, please reach out for more details.
