Pet care experience

Experienced, Caring & Full of Love

Hi! I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up caring for all kinds of animals, livestock, exotics, dogs, cats, rabbits; you name it! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, both personally and academically. I’m currently working on my master’s degree at Tarleton State University, in Animal Science which has deepened my understanding of animal care, health, behavior, and responsibility. Because of my background, I’m comfortable with all personalities and energy levels. Whether your pet is playful and energetic or shy and skittish, I have the patience and attentiveness to help them feel safe and cared for. I truly treat every pet like they’re my own — with love, consistency, and lots of affection. My goal is for you to feel completely confident and at ease knowing your furry (or not-so-furry!) family member is in knowledgeable, compassionate hands.

Karley did an awesome job of taking care of our pets. She kept in contact with us and sent pictures and answered texts when we asked questions.

Karley is an amazing pet sitter because she genuinely loves animals and treats them like family. She’s the kind of person who notices the little things-whether a pet is acting a bit off, needs extra attention, or just wants some extra love. You can trust that she won’t just “watch” your pets, she’ll actually care for them the way you would. She’s dependable, and always follows through, which gives real peace of mind when you’re away. Karley also understands that every pet has their own personality and routine, and she takes the time to make sure they feel comfortable and safe. Whether it’s sticking to feeding schedules, going on walks, or just spending time with them so they don’t feel alone. Karley is an excellent choice for pet sitting and our only choice when it comes to our fur babies. She’s the best “dog mom” around!

Karley has always loved animals. She was in 4H and FFA and took excellent care of all of her animals. She can be trusted and will see that your pet will be cared for while in her care.

Karley watched our dogs while we were out of town and she was amazing. She’s super easy to communicate with and you can tell right away that she genuinely loves animals. We never once worried about our pups while we were gone. She kept their normal routine, made sure they got plenty of playtime, and even sent us updates so we knew they were doing great. When we got home, they were happy, relaxed, and clearly well taken care of. We’d absolutely ask her to watch them again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring.

Schedule

I am fully available Thursday through Sunday to care for all of your fur babies’ needs — whether that’s walks, drop-ins, overnight stays, or extra cuddle time! Monday through Wednesday, I am available for walks, drop-in visits, and letting pets out anytime after 1:00 PM. If I am providing in-home sitting during those days, I will be unavailable from 9:00 AM–12:30 PM due to classes. Outside of that short window, I am fully present and committed to your pet’s care. No matter the day, I prioritize communication, consistency, and making sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet will have a safe, comfortable place to stay in my home. I have a dedicated space where a kennel can be set up, or I’m happy to provide one upon request if your dog is crate-trained. Pets are welcome on all of my furniture and even my bed — I truly treat them like family while they’re here! I also have a small fenced-in backyard where they can safely play and take potty breaks throughout the day. In addition, I take my own pets and any boarding guests on regular morning and evening walks to ensure they get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and fresh air. If I am caring for your pet in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I understand how important familiarity is for animals, so I follow your instructions closely; from feeding schedules and walks to medications and bedtime routines. I will treat your home with the utmost respect and care, keeping everything clean, secure, and just as you left it. Regardless of where your pet is being cared for; you can expect regular updates, photos, and communication so you feel completely at ease while you’re away. My priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved in their environment, while you are away 💕.

A typical day

A typical day starts with sticking to your pet’s normal routine. Morning usually includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks or litter box cleaning, and a little playtime or cuddle time to start the day off right. I like to make sure pets get attention right away so they feel secure and settled. Throughout the day, I check in for walks, play sessions, enrichment activities, or just hanging out on depending on their personality and energy level. For dogs, that might mean a good walk and some fetch. For cats, it could be interactive toys, brushing, or quiet company. In the evening, we wind down with dinner, another potty break if needed, and some relaxed time so they feel calm and comfortable before bed. I always keep owners updated with photos and quick messages so you know your pet is happy and doing well.

Before caring for your pet, I love learning about their personality, quirks, and daily routine. Every animal is different, and the little details matter! Let me know if they’re shy at first, super high-energy, a professional cuddler, or more independent. Please share any special needs, medications, allergies, anxieties, or triggers (like storms, other dogs, or loud noises). If they have funny habits; like stealing socks, needing a specific bedtime routine, or only drinking water from one bowl I want to know that too! The more I understand about your pet, the better I can make them feel comfortable, safe, and right at home while you’re away. 🐶🐱
