I’ve been around dogs my whole life and grew up caring for our family dog, so looking after them has always been second nature. Now I have my own energetic Australian Shepherd, who has taught me even more about the importance of exercise, consistency, enrichment, and positive reinforcement. Between daily walks, playtime, and plenty of adventures, I’m comfortable caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities and energy levels. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing fetch, or curling up for cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

Karlee is better with dogs than most people are with human children. She is a very loving and patient caretaker who will make sure any dog has the time of their life while under her care.

Schedule
Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I have an active Australian Shepherd, so every day includes multiple walks, playtime, enrichment activities, and lots of attention. Because I’m already structured around caring for my own dog, adding another pup into our routine feels very natural. I enjoy spending time outdoors, staying active, and making sure dogs get both the physical exercise and affection they need. Whether your dog prefers an adventure, a leisurely walk, or relaxing at home, I’m happy to tailor their care to fit their routine.

I believe every pet is happiest when their routine stays as consistent as possible. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll follow their normal schedule for feeding, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and rest. I take the time to learn each dog’s personality, energy level, and any special preferences so they feel comfortable and secure. In my home, pets receive plenty of supervision, exercise, enrichment, and affection in a clean, safe environment. My Australian Shepherd loves having canine companions, but I’ll always make introductions slowly and prioritize everyone’s comfort and safety. In a client’s home, I treat both the pet and the home with respect. I’ll keep your dog company, stick to their routine, make sure they have fresh water and plenty of exercise, and leave your home just as I found it. I also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

A typical day
I love keeping dogs active, engaged, and happy! Depending on each dog’s age, personality, and energy level, we’ll enjoy neighborhood walks, games of fetch, tug-of-war, sniff walks, puzzle toys, and plenty of playtime. For more active pups, I’m happy to go on longer walks or explore dog-friendly trails (with your permission). For dogs who prefer a slower pace, I’m just as happy to spend time cuddling, giving belly rubs, and keeping them company. My goal is to make sure every dog gets the right balance of exercise, mental stimulation, and affection while you’re away, so they come home happy and tired.
