While visiting your dog for weekly walks, I will defer to your defined house rules when it comes to greeting and socializing with your dog. I will be sure to keep any preferred doors closed, gates up, and toys away. I will reinforce rules like staying off of furniture, etc. I will always be sure to refill water bowls as needed and will leave your home tidy and clean. If allowed, I will be happy to give your dog treats after a successful walk! I have also had many opportunities to house sit and truly enjoy it! I will treat your home as my own, keeping things clean, tidy, and respecting your space. My priority remains the same among all of my house sits, making sure your home, house plants, animals, and daily responsibilities are well looked after and taken care of.

I'd much prefer to know if your dog has any aggression or strange behaviors around other humans or dogs. Your dogs safety is my top priority, as well as those around us while on a walk! I'd also be happy to know of any routines your dog is used to while getting out of the house.
A typical day
I'm happy to walk any preferred neighborhood routes, but certainly love to take my pups to convenient nature areas! I enjoy walks along the river or in a nearby park. I'm happy to play fetch with your pup where they are allowed off leash, however, I will only do so with strict permission from you as well as with the confidence that your dog will respond to my commands off leash.

I've had furry friends my whole life, 5 Golden Retrievers to be exact! I love all kinds of pups, cats, and animals. I've had a lot of experience walking and caring for dogs! I'll love your dog like my own and hope to help out with getting him / her out of the house while you're away. I have experience walking / exercising all sorts of dogs; big, small, old, young, high energy, and social butterflies.

We met Karlee on Trusted Housesitters. She watched our pup and home in Scotland! Karlee was a wonderful pet sitter for our dog. Communication was great before and during the sit. When we initially met Karlee over a video call, and on her arrival, we took to her immediately and so did our dog. We had total confidence in her. She sent us photos of her adventures with Basil which gave us reassurance that he was being well looked after and having a fun time! She left our home clean and tidy. We would without hesitation recommend Karlee for a pet sit and would welcome her back any time!
Karlee looked after my large mixed breed dog, Merlot, and stayed in my home in Lucerne, Switzerland. We met on Trusted Housesitters. Karlee was an absolute gem. I’m so happy we got to meet her! She took care of my Merlot like a second mother and was always so thoughtful and considerate in everything that she did. I got my daily videos and updates on their adventure together. My home was spotless when I got back and we got to share some very nice moments together. Can’t recommend her enough, Karlee is the perfect Housesitter and guest!
I’ve had Karlee watch and walk my sweet but crazy 2 year old lab mix pup, Blue, a few times - including a one week stint at my house while I was on vacation - and she literally treated him like he was her own. I asked for photo updates and he clearly was obsessed with her. She took him for his daily walks and park play time, and it’s clear that she’s used to being around dogs, even high energy ones. She knows what to look out for and how to take care of them. I trust her completely with my dog and know I can count on her, which honestly is what you need when you entrust someone with your pup :)
