I have grown up with a variety of dogs from lhasa apsos to golden retrievers to malamutes, and I love each unique personality, disposition, and energy level that different breeds bring to the table - so you could say I'm an equal opportunity dog lover! I have dog sat countless times and use it as a way to get my "dog fix", since I travel a bit too much to responsibly own a pup of my own (although I can't say it isn't constantly tempting). My friends say I turn into a different person when dogs are around - think huge smile, higher pitched voice and hands outstretched in a ready-to-pet fashion. I can't wait to share my affection with the furriest member(s) of your family! For house and pet sitting, I work at a dog friendly office and am open to introducing your pup to the corporate life! With dog walking and drop ins on weekdays, I would need to work around my work schedule, which is a typical 8am-5pm. I only accept one client at a time, and don't have pets of my own, so no need to worry about pet-compatibility issues. I am open to extended stays, which my calendar does not reflect, so feel free to ask about availability!

Karlee was great with Luna! I've never left my dog with a sitter before, only friends, and my dog can be a handful on a walk. Karlee met us for a meet and greet and put me at ease instantly-- she was super knowledgeable about how to manage reactive dogs and dog personalities. During Luna's stay with Karlee, she took her on long walks, gave lots of cuddles, and provided pictures throughout the stay. 10/10 recommend!

Schedule
I work from home, so will be with the dogs for the majority of the day. If I step out for a spin class or to meet with friends, I am usually only ever gone from 1-3 hours. I also tend to take the pups with me if I go for a hike/walk, unless otherwise noted by the owner to not do so. My partner helps care for the dogs as well, so there is usually someone around :)

Safety, trust & environment
Our home is very dog friendly, we don't have much that a dog could get into. We do have plants, and have not checked for dog friendliness, but we have never had a dog eat our plants either. Also, our yard is big but not fully fenced in, so let us know if you need the pup to stay on a leash while outside.
Pets
A typical day
If the dog is active, I love going to discovery park, hiking and taking a splash at dog friendly water-side parks. For older or less energetic dogs, we can take a brief stroll and/or hang out at home (with the added bonus of unlimited belly rubs). I am also open to taking the pup with me everywhere, from my dog-friendly workplace to a great dog friendly restaurant nearby!
