Pet care is an essential part of my weekly routine, and I structure my schedule to provide consistent and attentive care. My mornings typically include check-ins or walks for pets, ensuring they start their day with exercise and attention. I also plan my mid-day breaks or work intervals to accommodate feeding, potty breaks, or playtime as needed. On days when my schedule includes specific commitments, like work or classes, I always make time before and after to ensure pets are cared for without any interruptions to their routine. My approach is adaptable, allowing me to meet the needs of pets and their owners, whether they require short visits, extended care.

I strive to maintain a pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to ensure their comfort and minimize stress. This includes following feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any special care instructions, such as administering medications or specific training. I also prioritize keeping their environment clean and safe, making sure food and water bowls are sanitized and their living area is tidy. While in my client’s home, I respect their space by leaving it as clean and organized as when I arrived, ensuring a worry-free environment. When pets stay in my home, I create a safe, welcoming, and pet-friendly environment. I designate areas where they can relax, play, and feel at ease. I adhere to their usual feeding and exercise schedules and provide plenty of attention and enrichment activities. For dogs, this includes walks, outdoor play, and cuddles; for cats or smaller animals, I ensure they have quiet spaces and interactive play. I also take precautions to ensure a safe environment by securing harmful items and monitoring interactions if I have other pets.
Pets
A typical day
When I watch your dog, I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise and attention. We can play fetch at the park, enjoy long walks around the neighborhood, or explore a local trail. I’ll also spend time with them indoors, playing tug-of-war or teaching fun tricks like 'high five.' If they have favorite toys, we’ll use those too to make sure they’re happy and engaged.
