Safety, trust & environment
I have a large backyard and a friendly Catahoula that loves playing with other pets! I've also raised 3 dogs of different sizes, so I'm comfortable with crate training and meeting the demands of small, medium, and large breeds. I have provided grooming to many doggies and love creating a safe environment with lots of positive reinforcement. All returning furry friends meet me with wagging tails!

A typical day
My favorite part of sitting is meeting the daily physical and mental needs of your pet! So, you can expect your pet to get a 30-45 minute walk every day, many cuddles at home, and play time! I'll stick to your feeding and potty schedule as much as possible. I'll send two updates each day, but can send as more or less depending on your preference.

Pet care experience
Hi there, I’m excited to take care of your pets! I’ve always been a huge lover of all furry friends, and I pride myself on providing a high-affection and calm environment where your pet can feel at home. While I love the zoomies and playfulness of younger dogs, I have a very special place in my heart for senior pets. After having a Chorkie mix for 16 years (he recently passed in 2025), I understand the extra care senior pets require. I'll be honored to provide a slower pace, extra patience, a little more TLC, and administer medications, as needed. From playful pups to wise old souls, I can't wait to give your best friend the love and care they deserve! A little about the home: We have a gentle and friendly 5 year old Catahoula that welcomes all furry friends. If I step away from the house, our pet will be kept in a separate area out of an abundance of caution.
Reviews

Karla did an awesome job boarding our 2 cats for the weekend. She was responsive and provided frequent updates and we could tell our cats were getting lots of love and attention from the photos she provided. Highly recommend for boarding!
Karla is a remarkable pet sitter and companion. She has years of experience and has always dedicated herself to the task whenever her help has been requested. Her care, wisdom and love is not lost on me, I have a dog that requires a seasoned individual with patience and consistency, she has shown him that while keeping him safe and ensuring he felt supported and loved. I cannot recommend Karla enough! Thank you for the years you dedicated to Zuko and Leo Bleu 🫂
