I am home almost all the time. I teach from home all day during the school year with time off between classes. Animals can be on furniture and are usually hanging out next to me all the time.

We have a fenced-in, large, tree-covered back yard with a doggie door that the animals can go in and out all day. Animals eat at 7am and 5pm with special treats here and there.

A typical day
I take my dogs to the dog park in EC and am happy to bring your dog along. We mostly just hang out in our amazing back yard that is all fenced in and the dogs just love to explore and run around.

Work from home virtual high school science teacher. My husband Andy and daughters Halle (22) and Wynne (17) and our furry family members will all be at our home to make your furry friend feel like part of the family. We also have two inside cats that frequently go outside. I’ve never met an animal that I don’t love or that doesn’t love me. I decided to do this on the side to allow me to have more contact with animals without owning them or paying their vet bills. I believe that dogs are pack animals and will follow the alpha (me). If I’m calm, they will be calm. I’ve watched countless dog training shows and have always had two dogs my entire adult life. I have a great vacuum cleaner and a lint brush...what more does an animal lover need?

Karla took extra special care of Chester. She was sure to send pictures during the day so that I knew he was having fun. Her fenced in back yard is amazing for dogs to run, play and have some off leash freedom. Our plans for the day went longer than expected and Karla was gracious enough to oblique last minute. I know when I leave Chester in Karlas care, it is like his second home.
I have known Karla for years and her warm and charismatic personality impacts anyone or anything that crosses her path. Animals immediately are drawn to her because she exudes love and acceptance to every animal she encounters. She hates to hear or see any animal being harmed needlessly. She always offers to care for friends animals while they are gone and I have known her to watch 4 or 5 dogs plus numerous cats that find love on her door step. She is someone I would let sit any animal of mine. She is amazing and her family shares her enthusiasm.
