A typical day
I know how much a dog can love their toys so that’s always the go-to when I am playing with a pet. I love going on walks or even jogging (with those that need/can do the exercise), anywhere they can run around is always fun to play fetch! Scratches and cuddles are part of the package.

Pet care experience
I was born with a love for animals! My childhood consisted of me begging my parents for a dog, and then came Christmas our Lab and Pongo our Dalmatian! At 15 I adopted my first pup, Oscar. In high school I failed at convincing my mom to let me have a Bearded Dragon in the house - she is terrified of lizards so I used to spend hours at the pet stores. I used to skip school to spend a day at the zoo (I had good grades!) Getting to visit friends and family with pets was always exciting. Through babysitting I gained pet sitting gigs! I’ve been around animals my whole life so I’m comfortable and enjoy caring for pets. From the smallest to the biggest. Mine or not. They all get my love and attention. My current schedule allows me to provide pet care throughout the day and evening, weekdays and/or weekends as well as overnight stays. My flexibility allows me to help multiple clients and their pets. When your pet/s are under my care, safety is the priority, all rules set by owners are followed and I am always paying attention to detail -doors properly closed and locked accordingly, dangerous or non-toy items out of reach, and when being walked or let out, even more careful!

Karla is a true professional: she shows up on time, does a great job and is super communicative. She is extra patient with my very anxious/shy dog and that is a rare thing to find! Karla has our trust!
Karla is amazing! She treats my animal as if it’s her own. She is loving and caring. I never have to worry to come home to throw up or litter all over the floor. Everything is clean. It takes awhile for my cat to get to know someone. Sofie is very shy cat and would hide the rest of the day. But with Karla it was instant love.
Karla wasn’t available for the full 5 night stay requested but she offered an alternative to make it work for the night she was already committed, and still cover the rest of the week. She’s punctual, organized, and communicative. We came home from our trip to a happy and well cared for pupper. Book with confidence!
Karla is awesome! You can give her as many detailed instructions to take care of your pets as you need, and she'll follow them exactly! She's very good at keeping you updated on everything going on. If you also need some additional house help (bringing in mail, watering plants, etc) she's more than happy to do it! It was great having that peace of mind that my babies and my home were taken care of, which allowed me to enjoy my vacation. I'll definitely be reaching out to her again next time I go out of town!
