Hi, I’m Karissa! I’m a certified positive reinforcement dog trainer, military spouse, and lifelong dog lover passionate about helping families build stronger relationships with their dogs. I believe dog training is about so much more than teaching commands—it’s about creating trust, clear communication, and a bond that allows both dogs and their families to enjoy life together. Whether I’m stopping by for a walk, providing a drop-in visit, or working through training goals, I strive to make every interaction a positive experience for your dog. I’m a dog mom to two wonderful pups. My 7-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd has been with me since puppyhood and has taught me so much about raising an intelligent, high-energy breed. More recently, I adopted a tiny teacup Chihuahua puppy at 6 months old, so I’m currently experiencing all the excitement (and occasional chaos!) that comes with puppyhood again. These experiences help me relate to dogs and owners in every stage of life. I offer positive reinforcement-based training support, puppy foundations, leash walking skills, and basic manners, always with the goal of building confidence rather than using fear or intimidation. I also offer convenient virtual training sessions for families who want guidance from the comfort of their own home. While I especially enjoy working with military families and have military base access, I’m happy to work with anyone looking for compassionate, knowledgeable care and training for their dog. If my Rover calendar shows availability, you can trust that I have dedicated that time to providing your dog with the attention, care, and enrichment they deserve. At this time, I provide care in your home and do not offer boarding. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your dog and help you both thrive together!
