Growing up, we always had both dogs and cats. I grew up with big dogs (Dobermans/Doberman Rottweilers), so I have more experience there, but also have experience with smaller breeds too. In addition to experience with both dogs and cats, I also have experience caring for bunnies as well. I regularly watch my sisters dogs (both husky mixes) as well as my godpets (2 Boston terriers - 1 senior & 1 puppy, 2 cats, and 2 bunnies).

I am happy to accommodate whatever preferences owners have while caring for their pets, whether that be keeping their animals in a certain section of their home, crated, etc.

Karissa keeps our active kitty company while out of town. She’s very communicative and our kitty was happy and healthy when we returned from our trip. Karissa is really easy to work with and we appreciate her!

Karissa was great as always! She was flexible with us through some unpredictable travel delays and our dog was happy and well cared for when we got home.

Karissa is easy to communicate with and has always been responsive. We worked with her previously to watch our dog in our house for a couple days. She came for a preliminary visit to meet us and our pup. We had to cancel that trip due to an illness and Karissa was very understanding and accommodating with our need to cancel. We reached out again recently for a one-time walk, and appreciate that Karissa was able to accommodate our request on relatively short notice. She took great care of him and sent detailed info and photos of their time together. We already have another in-house appointment scheduled and feel comfortable that our pup is in good hands. We highly recommend Karissa!

Schedule
I do not have another job that will conflict on a regular basis so overall my schedule remains fairly flexible but please note I am starting to decrease my availability overall!
