Hi, my name is Karissa and I have loved dogs and all other animals since I was a child. I would love to hang out and spoil your fur baby! I also love nature, so why not bring a dog along for my outdoor excursions? I believe that walks are incredibly stimulating for dogs, and very important for their overall mental health! I can't imagine being trapped in a house all day, so why should a dog be left inside?! I started on Rover over 10 years ago when I was in college. I was actually the top rated sitter in my hometown of Roslindale at one point in time! After I graduated and entered the corporate world, I decided to update my settings to repeat clients only because I was getting so many requests. Recently, I have decided to take a step back from the corporate world and re-open my Rover to new clients. I was so much happier hanging out with dogs (and cats!) all day! I will always send you photos and videos of your fur baby while they are under my care. I know how important it is to receive those updates for your peace of mind when you are away from them. I’m on Rover because I love animals and enjoy pet sitting. I never double book clients! I understand that pets are family members and pet parents have the expectation for the highest level of care. Double booking would take my time away from your pet and I wouldn’t want somebody to do that to my pet. When I pet sit, I don’t just swing by to feed and walk them. I hang out with them to provide companionship while their owners are away. When you return from your trip, you’ll find your pets are very content and happy despite your absence — I guarantee it!
