Hi! My name is Karissa, I am 26 and recently graduated with my masters degree in clinical social work at the University of Chicago. While I enter a new chapter of my career and life I am available and flexible with dates for dog care!! A little more about me, I grew up with a poodle mix named Zeke and am a lover of all animals. I have been pet-sitting for friends and neighbors since I was a tween! At this time, my schedule is flexible so just let me know what works for you. I understand that pets are like family and am prepared to treat your pupper as if they were my own! I love to run and go on walks, so be assured that I will expend all excess energy your dog may have. Let me help you and your dog with whatever you need. Safety, trust & environment
I have a lot of experience working with dogs at any age range. I understand each family is different and how critical boundaries and structure can be for our animals. Please let me know how you run your household (how many walks per day, allowed on furniture etc) so I can provide the best care possible.

Karissa was GREAT!
Karissa was fantastic with Flos and really put us at ease during our trip! It was the first time we've left him for so long and he is a bit timid around new people, but she was patient and attentive as he grew more and more comfortable with her. She is very responsive, sent us videos and photos whenever we texted, and took good care of our house as well. 10/10 would recommend!!

Our dog took an instant liking to Karissa—unusual for him—and is always very excited to see her. She has always arrived right on time, and it has been a pleasure interacting with her. We highly recommend her!
Karissa was extremely patient with Cooper on days when he was reluctant to go on a walk - she would take him for extra blocks if he hadn't done a "poop"- and she was genuinely interested in him. I found her to be a very pleasant, trustworthy person to be around and definitely a dog lover. I would whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone.
