I am an animal lover who will enjoy giving your beloved fur babies exceptional and loving care. I have been a veterinary nurse for many years and have done pet-sitting as well, so I am experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to dogs, cats, and other pets. I am able to befriend even the most nervous and shy dogs with a calm, patient, and friendly demeanor. I am able to administer medications and handle special needs cases. I will quickly pick up on and handle any problems that may arise with your beloved pets. Walks and playtime are important, as well as cuddles if your fur baby is up to it. I'll always give updates on how they are doing. I can also perform additional services such as bathing, nail trims, and ear cleaning. I currently have 3 dogs who love to play. I also occassionally like to foster dogs in my home, but I always make sure they are healthy and friendly. They have full run of the house and very large fenced backyard. If a crate is needed, I have 2 small and 2 large crates set up in my "animal room." That is where I keep my small pets and pet supplies. I have many durable dog toys and beds around the house. I'm sure your fur baby will feel right at home.

I have left my dog with Karissa now many times. Luna, my dog, loves going to her house and has a lot of fun with the other animals…. I will continue to have Karissa watch Luna anytime I am out of town.

Schedule
I can do walks or drop-in visits before work in the morning (before 7:30am), and after work (after 6 or 7pm) on weekdays. Depending on the location, I may also be able to do a visit on my lunch break. On weekends, I am available practically all day, so I'm available for boarding, daycare, etc.

I have 3 dogs, and a cat who is used to dogs. Pets are allowed in every room of the apt, as well as the back patio. If a crate is needed, I have 2 small and 2 large crates available. I have many durable dog toys and beds around the apt. I'm sure your fur baby will feel right at home.

A typical day
I enjoy relaxing and cuddling with pets on my day off. I have a small fenced in patio for potty breaks. I live in a quiet, dog friendly neighborhood that's great for walks. I also enjoy occasionally taking my dogs to restaurants with pet friendly patios.

- I would like to know temperament ahead of time, as well as any behavioral issues. These will likely not deter me from caring for your pet, but they are important to know. Any existing health problems or medical needs should be discussed so that I can be on the lookout for any possible problems. I do NOT discriminate against any breeds although larger dogs may be difficult to host om my home since I live in an apt. I do require that your pet be up to date with vaccines, especially rabies. If boarding in my home, I ask that they be current with a good flea and tick prevention.
