Hello! I'm Karissa, and I've been an animal lover ever since I was a little girl. Growing up, my parents ran a pet shop, so I had the pleasure of being surrounded by all sorts of critters. Because of this upbringing, I've had the joy of caring for a wide range of animals, getting to know their unique needs and keeping them healthy and happy. In my own little family, we currently have three sweet cats and a playful puppy who's just six months old. We live in the lovely countryside near Festus, with a whole acre of land securely fenced for our furry pals to explore. We even have a pool, and you can trust us when we say we take pool safety seriously! We love a good game of fetch or tug of war and have been really getting into positive reinforcement training. Our puppy is even learning how to use buttons to "speak". :) I've got a soft spot for every cat and dog out there, and I'd be thrilled to look after your precious babies whenever you need a hand. I can either host them at my place or swing by your home to check in on them. Your pets' happiness and well-being are my top priorities! Karissa was amazing. She took fantastic care of our two pups! Sent daily updates and photos and welcomed them as part of her family. I won't ever go back to using a kennel for them when we are out of town. I couldn't be happier with her!! I would rebook with her in a heart beat!

As mentioned earlier, our household comprises three friendly cats and a 6-month-old puppy. They are all well-accustomed to meeting new furry pals and get along famously with both dogs and cats. If necessary, we can easily arrange separate living spaces to ensure your fur-baby feels comfortable and at ease.

A typical day
I know that our own puppy behaves his best when he is not only physically but also mentally stimulated, I love learning tricks and brain games from Rachel Fusaro on YouTube and I have lick mats, snuffle mats and slow feed bowls. I'm happy to take your dog on "sniff safaris" to let them explore new sights and smells or just let them roam around our big backyard.
