Dog-raised duo: patient & loving
Karissa has had experience raising 3 dogs from puppy years to old age, a Cavalier / Maltese, German Shepherd / Australian Cattle mix, and Cavalier. The German Shepherd / Australian Cattle was an adult rescue with special care and patience needed for their social anxiety. Andrew was raised by Black Labs and has volunteered at the pet shelter in Ventura, CA. We are the go-to dog sitters for friends and families for weekends and extended stays. We absolutely adore dogs of all breeds and always make it an intention to get them out the house for activities like long walks, strolls at the farmers market, or fetch at the park. Our schedule is built around them and we want them to feel comfortable enjoy their time with us!

Karissa is an excellent pet sitter, providing quality, care, safety, comfort and activity. She is always attentive, kind and considerate of each individual fur animal.
Karissa and Andrew have taken care of our black lab Sophie often. They are incredibly loving, calm and responsible. I get photos of them with Sophie taking a walk, hanging in the park and relaxing at home. Sophie always looks relaxed and content when she is with them!
Like many pet owners, my dog is my literal child, and I would trust him with Karissa for indefinite amounts of time. She cares for him like family and it provides me with so much relief every time I leave him with her. I know he’s not only taken care of, but taken care of with love!

Schedule
We both work a full-time hybrid schedule Monday through Friday. Because Karissa goes in 2x / week and Andrew goes in at least 1x / week, we switch days in the office so someone will always be home. We are also both early risers who enjoy morning walks and we lead an active lifestyle always making it an intention to move and get outside after work.

Safety, trust & environment
I live right across the street from a park and am in a very walkable neighborhood by South Lake Union. The area is also very safe and pet-friendly. We can schedule a meet and greet beforehand as well to ensure our home is a good match for your pet.
