I work full-time at a veterinary hospital, but can dedicate my time off to hanging out with your kiddos! I’m a bit of a homebody, so I’ll have loads of time to put towards your pet’s care.

When I care for your pet, they have my undivided attention. I always make sure they have enough of the necessities, and am happy to provide as much playtime and cuddles as they want. It’s important to me that your pet is well-fed and hydrated, and feels safe, happy, and stimulated. I make sure to reinforce whatever practices you follow with your pet and that I keep your space neat. Most importantly to me, communication is key! If I’m not sure about something, I always discuss with you first.

Before caring for your pet, I’d like to know of any medical needs, how they react around other animals and people, and how I can best get to know them, especially for my first visit. I want to follow their routines closely so I can make them as comfortable as possible. I’d love to know anything particular about your pet that would make their time with me more enjoyable, like what food/treats they prefer, what they like to do during outings, or how they like to play.
A typical day
When I walk, I love to go to a park or around the neighborhood to give lots of time for exploring new smells. While not out and about, I’ll be playing with your little one, talking to them, and of course, giving lots of pets!

Pet care experience
I’ve always loved caring for animals. My neighbors, friends, and family have asked me many times over the years to care for their dogs and cats, and I was happy to walk, feed, and entertain their furry best friends. I now work in a veterinary hospital and I’m so lucky I get to meet new pets every day. Seeing animals’ unique personalities and goofy moments have never failed to put a smile on my face!

Karinna took great care of my cat, Leaf, while I was away for 11 days/10 nights in Europe. He’s quite sociable and friendly but did experience some separation anxiety, which led to a sensitive stomach. Despite this, she ensured he was well cared for, happy, and comfortable throughout his stay. We had hoped our cats would become friends—they did fine but didn’t quite become besties haha that's cats. Communication was great, and I appreciated the updates on how everything was going. I felt reassured knowing, Leaf, was in good hands and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!
