Every adventure is better with dogs
Dogs have always been a part of my life. I grew up with a family dog who joined us on countless adventures and was truly part of the family. Caring for dogs has always come naturally to me, and over the years I’ve had the joy of looking after both energetic puppies and sweet senior dogs. Today, I share my life with my Irish Red Setter, Leo, who has made my love for dogs grow even stronger. Raising and training him has become one of my biggest passions and has inspired me to continue learning about dog behaviour, training, and the unique needs of different breeds. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone you can trust. Every dog is different, and I take the time to get to know their personality, routine, and what makes them feel safe and happy. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, fun adventures, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll care for them as if they were my own.

Karina was amazing- my puppy felt a little hesitant at first but she made sure he soon felt at home and had a great time going on a nice walk and taking a little nap 💕 Will definitely be using Karina again in the future!
Christian and Karina took wonderful care of our sheltie, Dobby, while we were at a concert. Dobby is a bit of a quirky little guy, but they handled him with a big smile and met him with so much curiosity, patience, and openness. He seemed comfortable with them right away, which says a lot. A huge bonus was their young dog Leo, a beautiful and joyful Irish Setter who played incredibly well with Dobby, even though he is more than four times his size. Watching the two of them get along so naturally was just lovely. We warmly recommend trusting your dog with Karina. It truly felt like they cared for Dobby just as well as we do ourselves , maybe even a little better. It’s clear that she and her partner absolutely love dogs, and Dobby couldnt have been in better hands.
Karina has looked after our dog for a day, and it all went very well. Very good communication throughout, and our dog and Leo seemed to have had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!
Karina is super sweet and very experienced. I knew from the first moment we met, that Penny will be in the best hands 🩷 She asked important and good questions and showed so much love for Penny from the first second 🥰 We can only recommend her!

Safety, trust & environment
I live in an apartment right next to a dog park and open fields, providing plenty of opportunities for walks, playtime, training, and sniffing adventures. I always adapt my care to each dog’s individual personality, routine, and needs, making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy. For boarding and day care, I only accept dogs who are a good match for my dog, Leo. He is a friendly and social Irish Red Setter who loves playing with other dogs, so it’s important that all dogs sharing our home feel comfortable together. I’m looking for dogs that are confident, social, and able to communicate their boundaries appropriately with other dogs. This helps create a relaxed and enjoyable environment for everyone. If your dog would be happier in their own familiar surroundings, or if they aren’t the right fit for a multi-dog household, I’m also happy to offer dog walking, drop-in visits, or house sitting in your home. That way, I can still provide loving, individual care in the setting where your dog feels most comfortable.

A typical day
I believe dogs thrive with a balance of mental and physical stimulation. I enjoy practising commands, teaching new skills, and including playtime, sniffing games, and scent/search activities in our day. Depending on the dog’s needs and energy level, we’ll explore nearby forests, visit the park or discover new places and smells. I always adapt our activities to each dog’s personality and routine.
