Works from home, fenced 10k yard!
Works from home, fully fenced 10,000 sq ft yard! I've been pet sitting and dog walking for over 12 years, including working with repeat families. I’ve lived in an apartment the last few years, and paused Rover because it wasn’t an ideal set up. But with my new backyard and working from home, I'm able to give your pets constant company, attention and care during their stay, so you can be away knowing they are in good hands. We have 2 dogs at our home, so your pup will be part of the pack during their stay! We have a large, fully fenced yard with lots of space to play. We are happy to take your dog on our daily walks, or can prioritize playing the backyard depending on your comfort/routine! I have experience training a Golden Retriever, Golden Doodle & Australian Shepherd from 8 weeks to 16 years. I've also cared for senior dogs (ages 11-16) and know how to help them rest (AKA snuggle), give them medicine, and ensure their dietary and health needs are met. Relationships are very important to me - with you and your pets. I'd love to build long-lasting relationships where I can continue to watch your pets over the years, so they are comfortable with me and I learn their typical behaviors and routines.

Karina was wonderful! We were nervous about leaving our three year old border collie with a sitter for the first time and wanted to be very selective about the person we chose. Karina put us at ease right away by asking all the right questions, taking time to get to know him before hand, and sending lots of updates and pictures during their stay. It was clear from the start that she is very knowledgeable and committed to making the experience comfortable for both pets and owners. Our dog had a great time and as a bonus we came back to a completely clean house and she even restocked his frozen Kongs! We’re so glad to have found Karina and can’t wait to have her back!

Karina is a professional, caring, accountable, friendly, and knowledgeable dog sitter. I was completely impressed with her ability to read my dog’s behavior when we first meet for a “meet and greet” before booking my overnight stay. She has pets of her own, so I felt confident with her ability to take care of Ruby with ease. I am grateful that she was willing and excited to meet my dog’s meticulous walking schedule. Makes me happy that she even walked Ruby around Greenlake! She was also on time for all meetings we had scheduled and provided check ins. I can’t believe I met someone like Karina on my first go with Rover and will absolutely be booking her again for future walks and overnight stays. Karina has helped me with my now 5-year-old Golden Retriever since she was a puppy! Karina is attentive, responsible and trustworthy! She has a natural ease with pets and mine adore her. I highly recommend Karina!

If you're looking for someone in a hurry - I'm here for you! I'm available to pet sit on weekdays, weekends, and for weeks at a time. I'm very flexible and can take on jobs quickly.

A typical day
It's best to learn your pet's routine, health and hobbies and keep things consistent for them. I'm a very active person happy to take your pup(s) on multiple walks a day, on hikes or to dog parks. We will always discuss their routine and comfort in different environments to know how best to spend our days together.
