Hi, I'm Karina, and I bring almost 20 years combined of personal experience in caring for pets & my pet sitting services. I've had the joy of loving and looking after Shih Tzus and guinea pigs, starting with my first Shih Tzu who was part of my family for 12 years. Currently, I care for my 3 shih tzus and 3 guinea pigs. My extensive experience, combined with a professional background in retail and customer service, ensures that your pets receive attentive and compassionate care. I offer personalized pet care services both in my home and in clients’ homes, ensuring that each pet receives the attention and care they need based on their individual requirements. In My Home: When pets stay with me, they become part of my family. I provide a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment for them. My home features a fenced-in yard where dogs can play and exercise safely. Additionally, I live in a nice neighborhood with plenty of great places for dog walks. Pets have access to cozy sleeping areas, plenty of playtime, and regular walks. I maintain a clean and pet-friendly home, and I am attentive to their dietary needs and routines. My own pets, including my 5-year-old Shih Tzu and two guinea pigs, are well-socialized and friendly, ensuring a harmonious and welcoming atmosphere. In Clients’ Homes: When caring for pets in clients’ homes, I prioritize maintaining their regular routine to minimize stress. I offer services such as feeding, walking, administering medication, and providing companionship. I ensure that the home remains tidy and that pets are comfortable and happy. I communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and photos of their pets to keep them reassured. My experience with various animals allows me to adapt to different environments and pet needs efficiently.

Karina was fantastic! She messaged me before her stay asking if we’d want her to send us updates and pictures and Levon’s routine walk schedule and any other additional things we’d want her to know. Throughout her stay, she was very communicative and prompt if I had any questions and left our guest room super clean. Most importantly, Levon looked super calm and happy with her company. We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a rover to walk, housesit, etc their pet!

I am currently on summer break from University so I have completely open availability except for Sundays to care for your furry friends. I will have this completely open availability until late September.
