Safety is literally my number one priority. I've had three large dogs at once, including a retired police dog... so I know how to read their body language and keep them out of trouble. On walks, I stay totally focused on the dog, no phone scrolling, just me and your pup exploring Abbey Park, the riverside, or wherever they love to sniff. I keep them on a lead unless you say otherwise, and I always carry poop bags and water. Honestly, I just want them to feel safe, happy, and completely themselves while you're away.

Honestly, I follow the dog's lead. Every pup is so different! Like Simba, he was obsessed with meeting bigger dogs for a proper sniff, so I'd take him to where the big lads were, and we'd hang out while he made friends and I chatted to their owners. Then there's my mum's little sausage dog... she hates walks but desperately needs them for fitness. So I have to get creative, with her I must show lots of excitement, encouragement, and basically be a total cheerleader just to get her around the block! And my favourite? The retired police dog we adopted. So clever. We played hide-and-seek in the woods, did sports games, anything to keep that brilliant brain busy. I'm naturally bubbly and chatty, so I match their energy, whether that's bouncing around like a puppy or just pottering along with an older gent who wants a quiet stroll and some company. I genuinely love both.
