Hi there! My name is Karina and I am an experienced pet sitter available to in-house sit for your pet, drop in for a feeding or socialization, or drop in to walk your dog. Work experience includes 9 years at the ASPCA, 2 years as a veterinary assistant, and some time as a caregiver at a local animal shelter. I've house sat for both dogs and cats for multiple families (references available). I have experience with socializing shy cats, as well as giving medications to both cats and dogs, including administering subcutaneous fluids to a cat with kidney issues. I have been around animals my whole life, including having pets of my own. I am currently available full time. Most importantly, I'm available to give your pet all the love and cuddles they need while you are gone!

She reads their behavior well, stays level headed in stressful situations, and always puts their well-being first. Most recently, she went above and beyond to help me during a stressful moment with my cat. I was panicked, and she stepped in with such steadiness and urgency, helping me get him to the vet quickly and safely. I honestly do not know what I would have done without her. She is also a great communicator. She is reliable, responsive, and keeps you updated in a way that gives real peace of mind. Any pet would be lucky to be in her care, and any pet parent will feel instantly more at ease knowing Karina is there.
Karina is the perfect choice as a pet sitter. She has owned at least 1 cat as long as I know her and has been professionally employed by a well-known animal rescue agency. She is loving, caring and is well-informed about feline and canine medical care. She also has contacts in the veterinary field that she can contact for health and medical information as needed.
