I try to figure out what each pet is used to and work from there. Animals love routine, so when taking care of other people’s pet I try to keep that routine as consistent as I can while the owners are away.

A typical day
I think walks are a great way for a dog to get their exercise in. I also love seeing what tricks dogs know and seeing how I can help them continue learning new ones. I also know some obedience training practices if that is something owners are looking to improve for their dog.

Karina took awesome care of our geriatric cat Figaro. He actually gained weight while he was in her care, which was so great! Karina was great with our pup - I could tell he felt very comfortable right away with her. She followed instructions well and left our house clean, exactly how we had left it. She was responsive and did a few extra helpful tasks for us while we were gone, like taking our garbage out and putting delivered groceries away.
