I’ve never seen my dog more excited than when Karen walks her! Always a delight to see Karen!

Karin did an amazing job caring for my one year old Great Dane puppy for almost three days. She ran with her, tried biking with her and just plain wore her out! Not only did she care for Abbey but she kept an eye on watering the yard, even bringing me some succulents to add to my yard from her yard! She did some major re-organizing in my kitchen! I felt completely at ease when gone! She did way more than expected and I will definitely use her again!!

Highly recommended! Sitter has great communication, our pet loved jogging around her beautiful neighborhood, and she was very kind ( an obvious animal lover : ) We would definitely book again!

Karin is, without exaggeration, the only person we trust to care for our dogs. We have a very bonded Chocolate Lab named Summer and her younger brother, Jungo, a Rottweiler mix who just recently graduated from the ‘wild puppy’ stage. Jungo can be a handful—he’s strong-willed, mischievous, and tends to pester Summer when he’s bored. Karin came in and immediately established herself as a confident, calm, and loving presence. She intuitively knew how to balance firm boundaries with loving attention. Jungo responded to her like magic—he was focused, less jumpy, and even more respectful of Summer’s space. Karin incorporated mini-training sessions throughout the day and brought enrichment toys that challenged his mind and helped redirect his energy. Summer, who’s very attached and doesn’t usually handle separation well, didn’t miss a beat with Karin around. Karin ran with them, played fetch at the park, and even took them swimming—one of their favorite things. She clearly took great joy in every moment with our dogs, and her detailed daily check-ins gave us peace of mind while we were away. Karin clearly loves animals, is professional, deeply respectful of our home, and always keeps safety a top priority. She’s reliable, compassionate, and truly an expert in her field. Bottom line: she’s not just a sitter—she’s part of the family now. We hope she’s available next time we leave town—though we’re fully aware that someone this amazing won’t have an open calendar for long!

Location: East Sacramento “If we could give Karin more than 5 stars, we would. She is hands down the most trustworthy, energetic, and skillful pet sitter we’ve ever worked with. Our Labradoodle, Trixie, is a high-energy, bouncing-off-the-walls kind of dog, and Karin handled her with a mix of playful creativity and absolute control. From day one, Karin asked all the right questions about Trixie’s diet, routine, quirks, and training goals. She incorporated obedience reinforcement into playtime and made sure Trixie was mentally stimulated—not just tired from physical exercise. Whether it was long hikes, swimming at the river, or agility drills in the backyard, Trixie was in heaven and came home happy and well-behaved every time. What really impressed us was Karin’s level of supervision and safety awareness. She always kept a close eye on Trixie, gave us regular updates, and we could tell she genuinely loves what she does. Her love for animals is obvious, and her expertise in behavior and training is unmatched. Karin doesn’t just “watch” pets—she engages with them. She’s reliable, creative, and an absolute joy to work with. We almost hesitate to write this because we don’t want her to get so booked up that we can’t get her again!
