I’ve always been surrounded by animals—growing up in a home with multiple dogs, cats, and even a bird. At one point, we had five dogs, three cats, and a bird, so caring for pets is second nature to me! Over the years, I’ve also helped friends and family with their pets whenever they needed an extra hand because my family and I truly love animals. As a pet sitter, my priority is to give owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in a safe, loving, and reliable environment. I currently have three young children who adore dogs, so Rover gives us the perfect opportunity to enjoy the company of pets for short periods while providing them with lots of attention and care.

We had a fantastic experience from scheduling, meet and greet, drop off, stay, and pick up. Kari is prompt and responsive in communication, flexible, and very friendly. Our dog was welcomed and included in the family. I highly recommend her and hope to be able to have our dog board with them again!

My pups came home totally exhausted, they must have had a blast!! Kari updated me during their whole stay with pictures which made leaving my pups so much easier. She was so responsive and quick to answer any time I messaged. I would definitely book with her again!

Schedule
I work full-time from home during the day while my older kids are at school. When we’re home, we love spending time in our fenced-in yard or relaxing indoors. On weekends, we typically step out for a few hours, and during the week, we may have occasional evening activities—but most of the time, we’re home and ready to give your pet plenty of attention and care.

We have a large fenced yard that we hang out in often with the kids, especially when the weather is nice. The inside of our home is dog friendly. We don’t mind dogs on our beds or sofas!
A typical day
We are excited to spend time with your pet in our fenced backyard. I understand every animal has unique needs based on age and health, so activities will always be tailored to what’s best for them. For safety reasons, we typically don’t take dogs on walks along the road since we live near a busy street and I often have my small children with me. Instead, we focus on safe, fun play in our yard or at secure dog-friendly spaces, ensuring your pet gets plenty of exercise and attention without risk.
