New to Rover, but not new to dog sitting and walking. I grew up with lots of animals including dogs, cats, and horses and have been taking care of them since I was young. I have been pet sitting and dog walking since I was in high school and continued throughout college. I got most of my clients through word of mouth and had many repeat clients as well. I just moved from NC to WA about a year ago and am looking to get back into pet sitting and walking. I love taking them on walks, playing with them, spending time with them and loving on them. I treat every client like they’re my own. I am huge on communication and giving frequent updates (if wanted) and will send tons of pictures! I have experience with a variety of breeds from, labs, Great Danes, German and Australian shepherds, blue heelers to Pomeranians, doodles, chihuahuas, etc. I also have experience with different levels of energy and temperaments. I have loved pets of all ages from puppies to senior dogs. I have experience with helping with medication administration, allergies or special diets if needed as well. Finally, I also have experience with dogs in training as my dog has completed training herself. My current dog, Sadie, is a 5 year old black lab and she is my pride and joy. I understand how scary it is to put your trust in someone else to take care of your own fur babies. I have been a dog owner my entire life, and I understand how important they are and what they mean to you. I will treat them as my own and make sure they are taken care of how you would take care of them. I know I would want the same thing done for my fur babies.

Kari stayed at our house and took care of our dog, cat and fish for a few days while we were out of town. She was a great communicator, kept the place clean and everybody seemed relaxed and happy when we got home. We had flight issues and were delayed and she was flexible, staying late to make sure our flight took off and even offered to come back the next day if needed. I’d highly recommend Kari.
Kari is one of the most caring pet parents I have ever met. Her love and care for all animals supersedes anyone I have ever seen interact with animals. She truly cares for every pet she takes care of and treats them like they are her own babies. I would trust Kari to take care of my pets anytime!

Schedule
Currently working from home with a very flexible job. Because of my work situation, I have a very flexible schedule and I’m available for daily walks or dog sitting at your home or mine (if friendly with my lab).

I am here to take care of your fur babies exactly to your expectations. In your home, I will follow their normal routine and your instructions exactly. If in my home, I will do everything I can to make sure they are comfortable and also following your instructions. I have a friendly female lab (she is fixed), who loves playing with friends! We also have a crate that we can utilize if wanted. We have access to many walking trails that our Sadie loves! I’m huge on communication and updates often.

I love to stimulate your dogs needs mentally and physically. I enjoy taking dogs on walks and letting them enjoy time outdoors. I also love playing with them inside with their favorite toys. I love creating enrichment toys and activities as well.
