I am a lifelong dog and cat lover. I have always had pets and have been trusted to care for pets of friends and family. My first job was as a caretaker for pets up for adoption. I would love to take good care of your fur baby! I am now a teacher so I will have a lot of time during the summer and school breaks to walk, play, feed, entertain and love your pets. During the school year, I am mostly available nights and weekends. I fit the care to the needs of your dog. If they like to run, we can go to a dog park. If they like to lay around, we can snuggle on the couch. Please let me know what will make you and your pet happiest while you are away. Pet parents can feel comfortable leaving their dogs, cats and other animals in my care. I am a teacher so during the summer break I have open availability! I can drop-in, stay during the work day, or spend the night. I can not have pets stay in my home. Being a teacher, you can trust me to stay in your home. Let me know if your pet enjoys hanging out in your fence yard or where they like to be walked on their leash. I can crate them if that is what they are used to, or they can sleep in bed with me. I will do everything possible to meet the routines of your family and make you and your pet comfortable.

Kari was an absolute lifesaver! 5 days before we were going on vacation, our sitter canceled which left us scrambling to find a back up. Cue to Kari! I messaged her going over our situation, she responds promptly and we are able to schedule a meet and greet which went smoothly. My dogs can be a bit high strung when meeting new people and Kari was not intimidated by them and they both took to her quickly. During our vacay, she sent pictures daily which I truly appreciated. You could tell the dogs were enjoying their time with her as most of the photos were of them cuddled up to her. If you are looking for a sitter, look no further! Kari is your girl!
Kari was great! This was first time using Rover and could not be happier with Kari! She took excellent care of my dog and fish. She kept us updated and sent pics of of each visit! Will be using her again for sure :)

I am a teacher so I am pretty much wide open during summer break and winter break. I can work around your pets’ schedule and be there when needed.
