Kari the Cat Lady Loves Dogs Too!
Growing up on a hobby farm surrounded by a wide variety of animals, and never knowing life without a cat, I was taught from a young age how to be a compassionate and attentive caregiver. My parents were active in professional dog breeding and showing, which provided me with extensive experience around diverse breeds, from Akitas to Pomeranians. Over the past six years, I have gained a great deal of experience with specialized cat and dog care. My soul cat fell ill in 2020 and again this last spring, and I got him through both times, learning how to administer a wide variety of medications and how to care for a special needs cat. Since 2020 I have also dedicated myself to training a medical service dog for my daughter, gaining hands-on experience in obedience, agility, and specialized care. My lifelong passion for animals, combined with this deep-rooted knowledge of training and behavioral needs, makes me a reliable and trustworthy partner for your pet. Your pets health and safety will always be my first priority, and I am happy to offer 'Pro Tips' to support you and your family to enjoy your best possible lives with your furbaby(ies). I treat every animal in my care with the same patience, love, and respect I would give to my own.

I am detail oriented and will be happy to carefully follow your instructions, maintaining a routine your pet is accustomed to, in their home where they are most comfortable. I can stay at your home or I can make visits to your home to check in and provide care as often as you need (up to 3x/day). I am also happy to offer dog walking. Your pet's health, safety, and well- being is always my first concern. I will always show your loved ones the same care and compassion I show my own.

Schedule
For the last ten years I have worked remotely, running a children's party company. This allows me the flexibility to work from anywhere, on my own schedule. I will fit any work I need to do around your pet's schedule. I do have my own cat at home and have support with caring for him while I care for yours!

- Please let me know your dogs routine and if they have any special needs or you have any special requests. Any behaviours I should be aware of? Nicknames? Favorite toys? Any fears or triggers? Favorite treats and snacks? Might seem odd, but what is your pets normal stool consistency and frequency? This can tell you a lot about your pets health. We want to keep an eye on this as your pet's 'care team'. I'm always happy to answer questions and offer support/ suggestions.
