I've had dogs my whole life and currently own 2. After college I was briefly a certified dog trainer. I've owned, cared for, or worked around a large variety of dog breeds and personalities, with their ages ranging from very young to elderly or end of life care. Animals are at the core of my life. As a teen I volunteered several summers at the Oregon Zoo working with many animal species. In college, I volunteered at a wildlife rehab center, and completed an internship with the Cheetah Conservation Fund in Namibia, Africa. I respect individual animals, and meet them where they're at. Regardless of the situation, I try to adapt to their mood while helping to fulfill their needs so they can live their best life.
