Information Kari F. would like to know about your pet

To provide the safest and most comfortable care for your pet, please share the following details at or before our first meeting: Medical & Dietary: Any special needs, medication schedules, allergies, or strict diets. Fears & Triggers: Sensitivities to loud noises (thunder, fireworks), vacuums, knocks at the door, other animals. Anxiety Levels: How they handle separation, being left alone, or meeting new people. Energy & Disposition: Their typical personality and whether they have high energy or tire out quickly. Signs of Discomfort: I am highly attentive to unusual behaviors, so knowing their baseline and tips to soothe them helps me keep them stress-free. If Boarding at My Home (Meet My Dog!) I have a sweet, friendly, and very energetic dog (Honey) who loves making new friends! Her Personality: She is a total sweetheart who will instantly love anyone who gives her pets. Her Meet-and-Greet Style: When first meeting a new dog, she can be quite enthusiastic. She tends to keep coming back for repeated sniffs...even after the other dog has finished greeting. Some dogs tolerate this, while others are annoyed. What to Expect: While she always settles down after the initial excitement, I like clients to know this ahead of time in case their pet prefers more personal space.

A typical day

Every day is structured around your pet’s natural rhythm, starting with a reliable morning routine of fresh food, clean water, and a potty break or litter box refresh. Midday is reserved for physical and mental exercise, followed by plenty of relaxation time. Evening concludes with dinner, outdoor or play time, and winding down with cozy companionship. Night ends with one more potty break before bed. Fun & Enrichment Activities Tailored Walks: From brisk jogs to leisurely "sniffaris" (long, slow walks packed with sensory exploration). Classic Playtime: Engaging games of fetch and friendly matches of tug-of-war for energetic dogs. Brain Games: Treat puzzles or interactive toy sessions to keep minds sharp. Feline Fun: Laser pointer chases and feather wand hunting for energetic cats. Affection & Comfort: Endless belly rubs (a crowd favorite!) and quiet, calming cuddles.

Kari really me helped me feel at ease going away for a few days without knowing how my newly adopted pup with separation anxiety would react. Turns out Kari is a dog whisperer and Belle did great in her care! Kari was communicative in how things were going and she was very observant and thoughtful in understanding and proposing what Belle might need or like. Thank you Kari for being so kind and attentive with Belle and all of us as a family!

Kari was a fabulous caretaker for Wren and our home. Our dog enjoyed multiple long walks and we came back to happy and healthy pup. She kept our home tidy and even cleaned up some small fallen branches in the backyard. Thank you for going by the extra mile with photos, reassurances, and checking on our flight status to ensure we traveled back safely. You’re fabulous!

Kari is detail oriented and takes time to follow all daily care instructions. Kari was in communication with us through our entire trip so we knew what was happening with the dogs and our home. She took great care of our home leaving it spotless when she left.
