Knowing details ahead of time—like whether they’re a senior who needs a slower pace, a puppy who’s still in training, or a dog with special needs—helps me provide the best possible care. Every dog is different, and understanding their energy level, any medications, feeding schedule, or behavioral quirks allows me to keep them safe, happy, and comfortable. The more I know about your dog beforehand, the better I can make sure they’re cared for just like you would.

When I’m caring for dogs, I make sure they get plenty of fun, exercise, and attention based on their personality and energy level. I love taking dogs on walks through the neighborhood, local parks, or on trails where they can explore new scents and enjoy the outdoors. Playtime is always part of the routine, whether it’s a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek with toys to keep them active and engaged. I also enjoy incorporating simple training games with treats and praise to help keep their minds sharp. If your dog is social and enjoys it, we can also visit dog-friendly parks or arrange safe playtime with other friendly dogs. After a fun day, I make sure they get plenty of relaxation and attention, whether that’s belly rubs, cuddle time, or just hanging out together. My goal is to make sure every dog I care for feels happy, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

I’m a reliable and experienced dog caregiver who’s comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I currently have a 122-pound chocolate Lab, so I’m very familiar with handling large, strong dogs, as well as smaller breeds. Whether it’s going for walks, trail runs, or playtime at the park, I make sure dogs stay active, healthy, and happy. Kari was great with Tilly! Tilly warmed up to her very fast and enjoyed all her visits. Kari was great at communicating each visit. I had no worries while I was gone. We will definitely be using her again for the future.
Kari is the best!! She did so well my with pup and kitty. She is flexible, reliable, and so great with animals. My cat is usually scared of people and hides, but she actually came out and spent time with Kari! I think that alone describes how great she is with animals. I will absolutely work with Kari again and recommend her!!!
Kari did a wonderful job taking care of my cat, Marlo while I was away for a month. She left everything tidy so when I returned I didn’t have any cleanup to do. I really appreciated that. I highly recommend her.
