I currently work remote so I am home at all times and able to make my own schedule and routine. This flexible schedule gives me the opportunity to visit with your pets and be sure they have everything they need while you’re away. I also take a walk every day, if your dog acts appropriately on a leash then they are more then welcome to join and get some extra exercise and fresh air.

I prefer to take care of your pets in their own home and environment. This helps them stay comfortable and reduces stress while their family is away. I know some are not comfortable with this so I also open my home for friendly pets. We have a large fenced yard (and horse pasture, when animals are put away) that the dogs can run and play. We have several dogs and cats that love to play or stay in their own area when they want alone time. Your pet must also be friendly with children when coming to stay in our home. I treat all pets as if they are my own family! They deserve extra love, attention, and play while their owners are away.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or cautious behaviors prior to meeting them. We work off of the honor system here so I can only care for your pet if you provide as much information so I can take care of them as they need. Any dogs that are aggressive towards other animals will not be able to stay at our house but I can drop in to your home and keep their stress level low with home visits.

I have dogs of my own that are of all ages. We play appropriately for their own personal needs. For the active and energetic, we play ball or chase in the backyard as well as take a nice walk at a nearby neighborhood or park. All ages love treat balls or puzzles to keep their mind thinking. While some dogs just want an extra cuddle and belly scratch.

I have worked in the vet clinic atmosphere until the Covid shut down brought me home. I have experience in emergency situations as well as how to properly care for animals in most situations. During the shut down, I also opened my home to foster dogs that had extensive medical needs and that needed proper socialization to later be adopted into their forever homes. We have a “zoo” of our own on 4 acres. We currently love our dogs, cats, goats, and horses! It sounds like a lot but it is truly my dream come true!

She’s the best!
Kari is the best! My 3 fur babies love her. She sure spoils them. We go on very long vacations…2 to 4 weeks ever few months and I feel at ease with her taking care of them. We receive pictures and how they are doing with each visit!
Did a great job showing up, taking care of the fur babies and making sure we knew they were in good health. Took time to make sure we had plenty of pictures and made us confident they had enough attention while we were away. Great great experience
