Dog Lover. Work from Home. Walks!
I've taken care of dogs my entire life. I grew up with a little Westie, and when I was on my own, I rescued my first dog...an Aussie-shepard / border collie mix named Oscar. (he was about 50 lbs) - He was a very lucky dog...we took him running, hiking and on many adventures. he lived to be 16. Following that, we brought a new dog, mini-aussie named Comet. He's now 8. very happy w/ lots of positive energy. He lives with me part-time (and part-time w/ his daddy) - When I bring dogs into my home, I am happy to have him as a playmate, or send him off to dads so I can focus 100% on your babies. In college, I also had a pet-sitting business where I stayed at people's homes to take care of their dogs in their own environment. This is actually my preference. In addition to watching your dog, (feeding, walking, playing) I'm happy to care for plants, bring in mail, and keep an "eye" on your home. (when I go out of town, I always like someone staying at my house to ensure it's safe) I currently take care of many friends' dogs when they are out of town, and I finally decided it was time to offer my services more broadly. I'm pretty new yere, so not a lot of reviews (most of my business has been for friends, neighbors & referrals...but happy to provide more references!) - thanks

Kari was amazing with Britt! This was our first time leaving Britt with a caregiver, and we felt very comfortable leaving her for a long weekend. Kari sent regular photos, took Britt on 2 daily walks, and truly treated her like her own dog. Her family also embraced Britt with open arms. We would definitely use Kari's services again!
Kari has helped with my dog many times. She’s taken him in her home (which is very clean, safe and dog friendly) - and she’s also stayed at our home where she’s not only watched our baby… But also taken care of our home. She is kind, courteous, responsible. I would highly recommend her to anyone considering care. Our dog loves her (and her son too (who has also helped on occasion)
Kari is a very responsible, trustworthy person who has a kind, tender heart for animals. I've known her for many years and would never hesitate to have her care for my dog in my home. She has taken care of our dog, Murphy, and he loved her!! 100% happy!

Schedule
I'm up early (about 6 am) and usually let the dog out in the fenced in back yard while I have coffee. then I feed my pup, and typically work for a few hours. Every afternoon I get out for a nice walk (or run). Dinner time, play in the back yard. Relax...really whatever your doggie likes to do! (we could even play fetch in my backyard) - there are also lots of trails and little dog parks nearby

I have a single family home w/ full fenced yard. Dogs are welcome to walk through the house and lay on rugs and doggie beds. If I'm at a client's home, I follow your rules, but always make sure to keep everything safe and clean!
