I am crazy about dogs and sadly lost my beloved Alaskan Malamute wolf dog 4 years ago. I moved and can no longer host dogs where I am currently living in Conway, SC as of March 7th, 2024. That is why I set my profile to House Sitting only. My only issue is if your dog pulls on the leash during walkies, that will not work for me as I have low back issues. If you have a fenced in yard I can run around the back yard and play with your pups, no problem at all. I just cannot take a chance with a dog pulling hard on the leash if he sees another animal, for example. I have extensive experience as a dog and house sitter for many years. I am also a certified dog trainer who worked at Petsmart & privately, training dogs of all breeds using positive reinforcement methods only. I am re-locating to South Carolina 3/7/2024 after living in NJ for many years. I also lived in Nevada for 17 years, where I did a lot of pet and house sitting for not only dogs, but also horses, rabbits and even pigs! I LOVE all animals! I am allergic to cats, however. I am also able to travel out of the area, if need be, to house//dog sit. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your dog child..I have been there..I have used this service myself and was very happy. Your dog would never feel lonely and is welcome to sleep in the bed with me, on the couch or on our huge doggie bed. I am able to administer medications as well, including insulin if need be. I will check in with you via text and send regular updates, videos and photos. I know that is what I wanted when I used this service in the past. Our dogs are our children, after all !! I do house sitting only. Prefer a home with a fenced in yard or a dog who walks great on the lead. No pullers please.

Karen was wonderful and took great care of our akita, Miko! Akitas are typically aloof to strangers but Miko liked her from their initial meeting! She was easy to work with, knowledgeable and communicative. She reached out daily with updates and pictures which gave us great peace of mind. We have already booked with her for our next trip! She is awesome!! 💖
Karen stayed in our home and took care of our dog. She is very knowledgeable about dogs and has a special gift that our dog, Ginger, sensed right away! Ginger was comfortable with Karen from the first meeting and treated her like she was part of our family. Karen is very trustworthy, she even did some extra cleaning of our home before we returned! I would highly recommend Karen!
Karen was great with my 2 dogs, the big one is very energetic and sometimes hard to handle but she had no problem and both dogs love her. I recommend her strongly and would use her again.
We had to leave town unexpectedly and were lucky enough to find Karen on Rover. Karen responded quickly and came over to our house to meet Molly prior to our trip. Molly responded positively to Karen immediately making it a bit easier to leave her for such an extended period. Karen kept us updated with messages and pictures on a daily basis and it was clear that she was taking excellent care of Molly. We are very thankful to Karen for taking such good care of Molly with so much love and would definitely consider Karen for future bookings.
Karen did a fantastic job with our 2 dogs, we received pictures every day & felt very comfortable being out of town. Karen treated our house like it was her own, we came home to a clean house & happy dogs. Thank you very much Karen.

Schedule
I will be home with your pup most of the time as I also teach music online part time. There will be an occasional singing gig I may have on a weekend night, however.
