I'm a homebody and have a ranch style property. I'm up before the sun and start the day. The "kids" are fed and walked first thing and then we go for walks through the day. Its good exercise for all of us... and they can watch the horses. They live in the home like it's their own. I've been told they get excited when they know their mom and dad are dropping them off. I watch how they react and me and the kids go from there.

The property is very large. I even have a fake fire hydrant in the back yard (which is pretty cute).The neighbors horses are always fun to watch and pet in the morning. It's very calm here.

I always request a meet and greet and ask for their vet info. (just in case). I'm a bit of a momma bear. Also I would like a note about their regular routine.
A typical day
As soon as I'm up I start the walk for the kids and bring them in for breakfast. Then there's usually a snuggle time. Walks throughout the day/play time and they decide where they feel comfortable. Some like the tile, some prefer the couch (Finnigan definitely does), In the evening they choose where they are more comfortable for bedtime.

My best friends have always been my animals. I was lucky enough to be raised around horses, cows, donkeys, goats, dogs, and of course cats. I have a large ranch style property where we go for walks throughout the day. An initial meet and greet is appreciated so your kids know me and realize they are safe and one of your dirty shirts is always appreciated so they have your scent. I'm also licensed and insured.

Karen has taken care of my pup many times and I have been able to leave him without worrying since I know that she will do a great job. My dog has separation anxiety but this is not an issue with Karen since she stays at our house. She is super caring and attentive to all of his needs, including cuddling! It has been wonderful, too, that she can housesit while she is taking care of my little man so I don't have to worry about the house either. If I were you, I would not hesitate to hire Karen and I give her the very best recommendation. She is responsible and professional and always goes the extra mile. I am moving out of state and hope I can find someone we trust and like as much as we do Karen. You-know-who and I will miss you very much, Karen. Thanks so much for all that you have done for us.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Karen did a fantastic job dog sitting for me! You could tell right away she was an animal lover! She was so sweet to Daisy and Daisy loved her immediately. Karen was reliable, communicative, and sent me great pictures while I was away. I felt totally at ease and enjoyed my vacation immensely knowing my dog was in such good hands and was receiving love and belly rubs every night just as if I was there!
Our Finnegan (a Biewer Terrier) loves Karen and Karen loves him. She is responsible, reliable, and very caring. An ultimate professional, she has our highest recommendation.
