Dog Whisperer. Beagle approved.
Walk time, play time, and snuggle time are all big parts of owning and loving a dog, and happen to be 3 of my favorite things. My 6 year old coonhound mix Wilbur loves to play tug and chase with his neighbors & BFFs, Lily, Chase, and Stitch, and would love to meet your pet if you'd like! Not every dog wants play, some need one on one time. I'm here because I love dogs and am in tune with their needs. I pay attention to what they are trying to tell me. I've grown up with dogs my entire life, from mutts to Cairn Terriers to Beagles to Pibulls to St. Bernards, and have yet to find a dog that doesn't like me. Even when their owner said they wouldn't. Even better than that, dogs listen to me inherently and when I come upon a stubborn pup, I know that patience and positive rewards trump everything! Wilbur's BFF Beau was a rescue from animal torturous testing and had many special needs. He was also a flight risk. I dog sat Beau and Lily for 7 years and have learned to never underestimate a Beagle's brain, they will not hesitate to outsmart you. Currently Lily is 16 and gets a special diet along with meds. Wilbur grew up with her since he was 3.5 months old, so I have experience with puppies as well as senior pups who need attentive care. I have a fenced in yard and gated wrap around porch, as well as 2 beagles (ages 4 6), a small supermutt (age 16), and a medium sized Wilbur (age 6). At your home harnesses and leashes will always be on before any doors are opened. I can crate your dog as well, if you prefer that.

Karen was amazing! Every picture she sent you could see the dogs just happy as can be. She stayed at our house and the pictures that she took with them snuggling with her in bed were just priceless. I will definitely recommend Karen to any and all of my friends!

Karen provided excellent care for my daughter’s dog Pippin! Pippin can be anxious but she was right at home with Karen and her dogs. Karen sent us lots of pictures and updates and was an overall outstanding dog sitter!
Karen has taken care of most of our dogs over the years. She is truly a dog whisperer with frightened dogs, a great person to do some training , and she LOVES every dog she takes care of. She's been able to walk 2 of our dogs who were leash reactive. Believe me, your dog will be in great hands with Karen.
Karen is actually the only person I trust to leave with my dogs. We have special needs dogs. One was scared of humans after being medically tested on and was a flight risk. She became one of only 3 people he trusts. She knows how to make sure he doesn't run away as well. We also have a 16 year old dog. She takes special medicines and special food. She has to be fed separately from the others. We have 4 dogs and Karen is the only one I trust. She sends me pictures and I know she's treating them like her own. They get excited to see her and I know she takes good care of them on walls and snuggles. She's helped us feom 2 week vacations to just giving them walla.

Schedule
I'm currently working part time, so your pet will easily fit into my schedule. My hours are flexible and my car is reliable, ready to transport a new friend!
