Karen was truly an angel on earth while caring for our paralyzed dog, Kai. Leaving our dog in someone else’s care was understandably nerve-wracking, especially given his mobility challenges and medically prescribed daily needs. From the moment we connected with Karen, she put our minds at ease with her compassion, professionalism, and clear love for animals. She was incredibly attentive to all of his care requirements and followed his medical routine with great detail. Karen maintained constant communication throughout the stay and never hesitated to reach out if she had any questions or wanted clarification. That level of diligence meant the world to us. The photo and video updates she sent were far more frequent than we’ve experienced with other boarders, and we genuinely looked forward to each one. Seeing our dog comfortable, happy, and so well cared for gave us tremendous peace of mind. It was clear that Karen cared for our pet as if he were her own. We are so grateful for the love, patience, and dedication she showed. We would trust Karen again without hesitation and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone, especially families with pets who have special medical or mobility needs.

Karen was great with my rowdy girl, taking time to meet her prior to boarding to ensure a smooth transition. She kept a consistent routine to help with our training goals and shared her wisdom and knowledge to help us further our girl's learning. You will not be disappointed!
Karen was very patient, this was our senior Aussies first time using rover and he was a fair bit anxious. She was very accommodating and updated us with pictures and kind words.

Schedule
I like to spend as much time as possible with pets who are in my care either with regular walks or one on one time. During the week while I am at work, they are walked before I leave and get let outside for mid day breaks in the backyard .I treat all pets as if they are my own family

I have a fully fenced backyard and never leave your dog unattended. If they are crate trained then I do have a few that can be used for when I go out. When I am in your home they get lots of cuddle time and daily walks and always follow whatever routine they are used to in regards to feeding etc
A typical day
Typically I like to take dogs on two walks a day and not just city streets but interesting wooded paths with lots of interesting smells. If they enjoy a good game of tug of war or fetch then I include play time when possible
